I used to know how to throw Sophitia's shield but I can't do it any more (move not in practice list) does anyone remember the move combination?

 

I can't belive no one knows how to do this????

I think Cassandra throws her shield in SC2 but i've never seen Sophitia do it in SC.

If memory serves me, it's her A+B counter. It will only hit mid/high horizontal attacks (or maybe it's just high). I don't have the game on to verify.

I don't know about being a leaderboard master but, yeah, I think I'm still on there for the fastest time trial. My score is nothing compared to some of the time trial scores the Japanese had during the DC days (in the 50 sec. range, I believe).

You play Ivy right?
I believe the number one on the leaderboard's is Cervantes but i havnt checked in a while.
I can get 49 with Astaroth but that's not even worth mentioning.....

For survival, I have 176 wins with Ivy, but there's a guy on there with somewhere near 500 wins. I play pretty much every character but Ivy is definitely good for survival. The AI is actually easier after about 130 wins. Believe it or not, but the highest difficulty setting is actually more predictable than the second-highest setting.

Too bad I can't stand SCIV Ivy. She's dead to me.

Dude i played SC4 ivy and i though she sucked bad.... Looks good though.
Were's all her whip stances from SC2? She was great in SC2.

She's got completely new stances. Apparently she's pretty good though.

My main issue with her is that they altered her gameplay too much for my tastes in SCIII and then again for IV. I just can't get used to the changes - first they weaken her SS and CS throws, then they change it to where you can only use them in certain stances NOW the command is different for each. Sorry Namco, you lost me there. Plus, I'm just not as competitive as I used to be.

SC1 and 2 flowed a little better than 4..... 4 just doesnt seem as fluid maybe that's just me though.

Oh, and I just tested it out, she does have her "shield throw" attack. You need to be a specific distance from your opponent for her to do the counter and I'm not sure if it can be re-GIed. To test it out, go to freestyle settings and have your opponent attack with their basic A horizontal attack. Hit A+B, if you're close enough to your opponent she'll auto GI the horizontal, dash backward and throw her shield at the opponent knocking them down and causing 40 damage.

Wow didnt know that i'll have to try it.
I suppose that's what influenced Cassandras move.
