Cant really see how you can compare the two games Moto GP pick up and play arcade racer, SBK Sim racer
Like you say the game will take time to master which in my view makes for the better game.
Only gripe is the online side of things the lobby system could be a lot better.
I have very few gripes with it at all. It's basically what I wanted it to be...a good follow on from SBK 2001. Once you get used to the handling and start putting in some good lap times it gets much better.
Also the 2 speed acceleration is a breath of fresh air.
SBK08 is a great game , as someone has already said SBK is Sim and MotoGP is arcarde.
Comparing them is like comparing Forza to Ridge Racer...
It hard for sure but worth the work and the more I play it the more I like it, I fear some will tear into the first corner , fall off , then go slower into the next corner but give it full throttle on the exit and then fall off again and then declare that the game is utter rubbish and rush here to tell us...

Any tips for getting better on this game?
I'm not really a bike fan, but I won this game in a NASCAR tourament of all things ... lol ... but it looks fun, however I'm struggling to get through the corners and get decent times!!

Damn you fast oldsaint btw, lol was racing you a while ago :)
Hey, yeah I like to race in simulation as you might have seen. It's all a case of using brakes in moderation and making sure you only use your rear brake when cornering, and using the feathering acceleration (slightly pressing in trigger) when exiting corners before powering down. They were some good races though that evening.
I will also say that I played and still play SBK 2001 alot so I've had a long time of it...
