That method keeps your rank, I can confirm that so anyone that wasn't sure about if you would keep your rank after that method, you do! No need to go through all the ranks again but if you like to do it that way thats cool and its easier just to reset it.

^ I don't think DarkGin followed the instructions properly, so he might already be outta luck =0, but thanks for confirming for others.

*Some people do not run into problems with this achievement, good for you.

*Some people unlock it by playing single player realistic, some have it glitch them.

*MOST people can unglitch it by playing a scene as Knight that they haven't previously played as him.

*A Few people claim they got Freedom Shall Prevail during a ranked match online.

*****Bottom line, nobody knows how to force the unlock for players who have already completed all scenes as Knight.  If you can actually give us the answer for this scenario, we can be done with this.  Or we could die of asphyxiation while holding our breath for a patch.

I got the PFC achievment just fine, but i havent finished the campaign yet :(

i followed it exactly but there apart of it thats a bit misleading so that probaly were it went wrong but im sure i aint the only one done it

but its the part were u get the achivement ,go to dashboard and sign in how can u sign in if the guide dont tell u to sign back out

Hrm, I think I see what you're talking about... The reset instructions task you with signing in ... I guess maybe the ethernet cord would've had to be disconnected or something...

ok i beat the game on realistic and even invited a friend in to beat the first act on coop. still no achievement. this sucks. cod4 is way better.

I think I am going to wait for a patch.  Don't know if this was posted or not, but I got the achievement for playing as Knight for one scene, but when I checked my ribbions, it said I didn't have it, but its listed as unlocked when I look at it through my dashboard.  Weird, but kind of annoying.  Hopefully they get that fixed as well.

Pertaining to the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement. I finished all of the levels this evening on realistic, with no achievement pop. Went back and did 2 co-ops of showdown stage, and Achievement popped!

After reading it carefully before i did it i realised that the "Sign out of Xbox Live" step was actually remove your Xbox from the internet so that your profile doesnt synch with the online server. Which is why the latter step states signing back in to upload the achievement to your profile. This way no Rainbow data synchronises so when you go back in the game as it is not aware that you removed all the data of your rank :D This is what should be made clear in the instructions as it will be the cause of many people permanently losing their rank no doubt!

I just wish there was a way to remove the story data, not even those ticks disappear with a reset of the rank! :'(

Kind of off topic, but.... I find those two statements to be funny/contradictory. You couldn't have done that in COD4.

Back to ranting about an achievement... for a video game... on the internet... showing how cool we are because we got those 10 points. I'm just saying.
