Why is this game not supported on the US Marketplace?
There are no downloads available for this game on the US marketplace.  I think that is a shame.  The game is quite a bit of fun for me and it is ashame to see the game go unsupported.

Agreed.

Arg...I need to play this more... If you download the stuff from the Japan market place does it transfer over to your US GT?

It does not transfer directly to your US Gamertag, however...

if you have both your US GT and your JP GT on the same console, and then you log in your JP one to download the stuff from the JP marketplace, then launch the game using your JP GT, the game will be updated.

At this point, you can then log into your US GT and be able to play with the new stuff, as long as it's the same console.

Well in theory anyways. Will someone confirm this?

Well i want to have the new character clothes clothes too, so i'm going to do this on payday (thursday). I'll come back here with results.

Re: Why is this game not supported on the US Marketplace?
Well, I haven't bought anything from the JP Marketplace before, but I have downloaded free DLC/demos from there. All the DLC/demos that I've downloaded with my JP XBL account is also usable by my US XBL account (my main account). I think it's important to note that both of these accounts were created on/registered to the same 360 console. I'm pretty sure that things that are actually purchased would work the same way.

As for why the DLC for Senko no Ronde isn't available outside of Japan, Ubisoft is to blame. It was up to them whether or not this stuff would be available elsewhere. Seems like they abandoned the game after it didn't meet their sales expectations. The reason the game still gets updates is because the developer (G.rev) is in charge of that aspect (for all regions).

DLC will works on:

The gamertag which paid for this DLC.
Any gamertag on the console downloaded this DLC first time.

Do you need to use a credit card to make a JP account and also to obtain MS points? Because that's what I've been hearing so far.

Making the account is free, but you'll need to obtain MS points with either a credit card or an MS point card from Japan (some online stores sell them).

Can't you use a US prepaid MS point card for Japanese account?

Nope. MS point cards and XBL Gold cards are region-specific. A US card will only work on a US XBL account, etc.

I tried buying MS points using my credit card but it won't work. I guess i'm stuck with buying japanese prepaid cards from online stores...

There are many costumes available for each character. You can see them all, and their prices, here (scroll down) :

I'm jealous, I can't believe that games and content are region coded, which really ticks me off, and the games in japan which look so good. :-(

Just curious, I saw some gamer pics of this game.
Are they unlockable in the game or must I buy them off the Jp market?

Must I also use Japanese Xbox points?

Anything you can buy off marketplace aren't unlockable except if it explicitly says it is; for example in eternal sonata you can buy chopins piano pieces, but it says on the download page that it is indeed unlockable.

Also yes, you must use JP points on a JP account to buy these.

Well I didn't check the Jp market place yet but if I saw it there then I know it is not unlockable because it would be bad business.

So I assume the gamer pix was paid for and I will just keep using mine until maybe I get bored though.

Hmm maybe I can try with Asian Xbox points, it worked with Idolm@ster Live for You, so maybe...........
