I did the first mission and now im in New York and im getting all the canisters, jump points, ect. but while first learning the controls I knocked down a building and while im looking for the canisters, turns out one was/is on top of that building. If I start the missions do the buildings come back fully intact later?

Yeah, after missions (or mini games) the buildings you've destroyed are back. Makes things easier if you're trying to get the canisters or comic covers and you end up destrying a building either on accident or in a fight....

Ok good. I have 99 green canisters and the 1 I need is on top of a building I destroyed.

I've had similar problems

my buildings rebuild when ever i turn the game on it sucks for me i try and destroy a whole block by the time i get half done the game freezes i load up and its all back to normal. Very annoying

Destroy a small area like HELL'S kitchen. It is still really long though
