Hi guys and gals.

Well i finaly did it today,i beat the last BOSS.I almost had a nervos breakdown while doing it lol.I never fought such a hard BOSS in all my yrs playing video games.I think they may have over done it on this one.He was way to hard to kill.I almost gave up but pushed on.And from reading on here i see alot of people have had the same trouble fighting this guy.Well i realy was about to throw the game out the window and swear never to play it again but i kept going and timed it out and bang kicked that guys ***.So know iam gonna try it out on hard mode.So i will update everyone and let you know how i did.Or you will see me on the news for going crazy lol.And to everyone out there playing this game dont give up youll get it just time it out and avoid the black oil guys and keep running then turn the wheel.Good luck

A bit late, but congratz. I had a lot of trouble with beating the first 2 bosses (giant and sand dragon) so i can expect the last boss being a cheater.

I just completed the game earlier this week. For the last boss during the first hand to hand stage just stay out of his melee range and when he completed his attack, get in and get a couple of strong attacks on him and get out of the way. I used double axes or whatever. A lot of people have used the heavy two handed weapons but they didn't work that well for me. Rinse and repeat and whittle his health down. Watch for the attack that comes through the floor, by studying his pattern you should be able to tell when he is going to unleash it. Be sure and time it right and jump or roll to avoid that attack.

For the other stage, don't even bother fighting the oilmen. Run to the right, activate, tap x as long as you can but get the heck out of dodge when the oilmen spawn, run to the right around the arena. And jump the tentacles as needed. If you time it right you can just run and their is no need to jump the tentacles. The oilmen will follow you around the arena, but Conan is much quicker then them. Get back to the spot, activate and tap x as long as you can. Their is a brief time that Graven will pull all the tentacles in. This is the ideal time to move the arrow. Tap x as fast as you can.

The second and third stages of hand to hand will most likely have oilmen involved, I would get rid of them first with your magic( second stage) and then concentrate on Graven. You will have no magic on your last stage of hand to hand with Graven so I just moved around the arena and let Graven knock them out. If you need health, you can pick up the oilmen and do the backbreaker grapple move.

and this is just on NORMAL?? took me an hour + to beat the last boss on EASY! im up to spire on normal now and parts and some enemies have almost driven me insane so far how they are way hard to hit and block their combo's!  can anyone give a rough description in the difference between normal , hard and king? not looking forward to hard

yea i played this game about a year ago on normal, never did beat the final boss. i tried a whole bunch of times but finally gave up. it was WAY too hard, and that doesnt happen to me often (the only other time that comes to mind is ninja gaiden black). maybe ill give it another shot and make use of these tips.

it's funny it took me over an hour on easy but normal i died maybe 4 times finished in 28 minutes. I made sure i had enough blue bar for 2 power armor attacks for the oilmen and just run around with the tentacles move the wheel around once and get off the wheel and start running around again until it stops and do it again. The uppercut attack helped a bit too (2 handed weapon). Now on hard having a tough time with bosses (with cheats on)

i beat it on king in 2 tries, i noticed on the 3rd part with tentacles low and high there were only 2 sets of oilmen so if you can get them all in void or how ever way you can kill then its easy to just jump tentacles turn the wheel a bit and roll out of the wheel and wait for more tentacles always standing in front of the wheel, so 2nd part should have only 1 or 2 sets of oilmen

Graven really isnt that hard as long as you are patient.  Wait for one of his combos, roll in and hit with 1 heavy strike and roll away.  When he drives his hands into the ground, jump to him and hit him with 2 heavy strikes.  Time consuming, yes, boring, yes, bu it gets the job done. 

I beat the game on hard yesterday and it took me the better part of a day to figure out how to beat him.

I just got the game a few days ago and have been doing my first playthrough on Hard, great game!  I didn't have much trouble disposing of regular guys through most of the game, up until I got to the guys with spikey shields, ever since then even the regular guys have been hard to bring down.  Boss fights have been a real pain though, especially Bone Cleaver round 2 and that Sand Dragon.  I just got to Graven today then immediately quit without even trying to fight him, decided I needed to take a break so I stopped and watched the Conan movie and had a snack!  LOL. 

I'll try and fight him soon though.  I've learned that patience is the key to the boss fights in this game, learn their moves and run in for a few hits then run out.  It's all about avoidance because if you get hit on Hard difficulty it REALLY hurts.  I died like 40 times fighting that stupid Sand Dragon.

Before I figured out how to read Graven's moves I wanted to kick myself in the balls over and over again. The tenatacle part gave me a little bit of trouble But I noticed you didn't have to turn the wheel all the way at one time. Oh, and the checkpoints are a life saver. If it wasn't for the checkpoints while fighting Graven, I would be missing my balls right now... But now that I've beat him I'm doing it over again on hard, and then King. Shouldn't beat to bad these times around.
