If your looking for achievements, buy it, get your points, then return it and get something else... it is not a good game.

my point is $5.00 is not that much you should get any game for the 360 at that price.

I LOL'D! Seriously I just picked this up from Blockbuster used for $4.99. That's like $1.40 more than a coffee at Starbucks...for an entire game!

It isn't as bad as everyone else makes it out to be. The Saphira levels are god awful though. Luckily there are only three.

What give you authority to judge them over a video game?
For some people, especially someone younger without a job, $5 may not be easy to come by.  They have to be selective on what they spend it on.  If he perhaps learned that lesson from his parents, then they are decent people.

PS. Eragon isn't that great, but may be worth $5 to you.

GRAVEDIGGER hahaha.  I rented this game from Gamefly, simply for the cheevos.  This game was so boring I nearly lapsed into a coma.  Had to play the game through twice to get 900 cheevoscore (I didn't bother getting all the secret egss for the last 100 points, could not stomach the game anymore).

Borderlands is fantastic if you're into loot hunting (finding a whole load of guns, items to use etc) and first person shooters since it blends the two so nicely.  4-player co-op is a riot and really adds a good team work element, trading / giving away weapons and receiving weapons from friends is fun (I don't recommend this with total strangers).  Has some decent replay value and is definitely worth a purchase.
