Someone help me, please!!! I can't stop dying!!! I can't do anything! Stage 03 boss is not possible for me to kill without dying once! I can't stop dying! Everytime I attempt to destroy the target, my Ikaruga self-destructs at random moments. Why does that boss Uzura keeps circling around and cheat by self-destructing my ship, making me die repeatedly? I can't stand this. I can't stop dying! Why am I the only target in this world where anyone can self-destruct my ship??? Why can't I stop dying??? It irritates me like this. It'll irritate me even more on Stage 04 and 05. Come on, I beg you to answer my question of why I am dying repeatedly from the Ikaruga random self-destruct sequence against Uzura.
I feel as if the Uzura is trying to have a Ikaruga Pizza.
WHOA!!! Slow down there! Deep Breaths! In, and out. In, and out.
OK... feel better?
Now, you say that you're randomly self-destructing? Uzura produces a LOT of bullets. They're small, so you might be just not seeing them run into your ship. But if you're sure that your ship is just RANDOMLY EXPLODING FOR NO GOOD REASON then I'm not sure of what can be done. Why do you need to get through it without dying ONCE anyway?

Simple. If there are any in-game unlockables that are not achievement related unlockables that I have to play perfectly which is beyond out of the question for me, then I take this anymore. I once owned the GameCube version of Ikaruga and due to it's frustrating game play, Free Play saved the day for me. Now I guess this version will not have any Free Play. I have a total of 7 Credits and the maximum credits I am allowed is 9 Credits. That's not enough. I can't complete this game without Free Play. I can't. As for Uzura, do you see the entire boss's wheel spinning in different directions inside and outside, that's why I have my Ikaruga was self-destructed randomly. I was absorbing the correct bullets of a correct shield polaroid, but then I would randomly experience self-destruction on my ship. I didn't collide into anything. This is absurd. How can you play a fair arcade game when the player randomly dies from an auto-self-destruct sequence??

Besides, you said "I can't complete this game without Free Play. I can't." So, doesn't that answer any other ridiculous questions about your obvious lacking skill-level?
Don't beat up on this person just because he doesn't have godlike skills! The reason he made this thread is to get help and support on an issue that, to him, lacks rhyme or reason; not to get berated by stuck up snobs like you.
I'm not sure I can help you. Practice helps, always.
There is a perfect guide on gamefaqs.com, if I remember correctly. It was written with the Dreamcast version in mind in order to get the maximum combo score. I was reading it back when I had the GameCube version.
I'm unsure if it will help you, but it could be a good place to start looking!
