How appealing is this to actual bowlers?
So I have a 360 sitting at my house for my dad.  My dad is a SERIOUS bowler (he has 21 300s), so I was thinking about setting him up a silver account and loading this game on there so he has it when I give him the system.  My question though, is this a game that a serious bowler can have fun with or does the whole rocket aspect make it a bit to silly?  I do not care much for bowling, so I am looking for the opinions of people who do.  Thanks!

It definately does not look like it will be a "simulation" sort of game.  If he is into video games what do you have to lose.  However, if he is the sort of person who is going to sit and compare it to real life bowling then I wouldn't waste my time.

This game really has more to do with crazy minigolf then it does with bowling.  This game is far from a simulation of bowling.  You have to go up and down hills, collect stars, use a "boost" and even get 3 balls per frame.  He may find it fun as it is "bowling," but it does not even come close to simulating the actual game of bowling.

Ehh, the indoor alley, imo, isnt too special. If he likes bowling, he should have it, because its pretty fun, just not simulation
