I can see your point with number one. However, i'm not from Manchester and I don't consider myself a glory hunter, does that really matter? I support Man U because my dad took me to a Newcastle (his team) - Man Utd match when I was a kid and I didn't really know who they were or what they had achieved but I loved the way they played and the support. He also took me to many other matches including liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea... but I never enjoyed watching a team like Man Utd, does that make me a glory hunter? By the way I also suppost my local team, Hereford!!

Well said mate. A lot of United 'fans' are glory supporters, like Liverpool and Arsenal. I just hate most United fans simply because they believe their club should win everything. They should come and truly support a REAL time for once and know the pain and passion of football.

I have more respect for someone supporting a non league side because they live close than choosing the easy option and supporting a top 4 side. You experience nothing as a fan, no ups, no downs. I started supporting Stoke when we were facing relegation to division 2 and look at us now, it's absolute ecstacy to see a club come so far in 5 years.
