i now need an anger management course

I need to vent my frustration. This game is certainly gonna result in the need for a new controller. I have smacked it against the coffee table so far and nearly thrown it across the room. The fighting is so freaking lame, one sided and down right poor that I am nearly crying with frustration and anger. I'm now playing on trainee, but trying to play not using a hand to hand take down on Embassy & the superior officer is: lets say testing my resolve. I've turned off twice so far and come back to it.

I read alot about this game, watched the reviewers on pulse, researched the forums, but it is cack. There I've said it. Cack cack cack.

The worst thing is I'm gonna finish it! hahahahahahaha what a DH.

Hope I dont offend or upset anyone with this postGeeked [8-|]

No offense here. I'm about ready to break my controller across somebody's head. I'm on Level 7 (Castle fight I think it's called) and I can't beat the sonofabitch to save my life! Every time I get close, he pounds me and I die. And I'm only on trainee! I've tried holding X+Y together, but it takes so damn long to do anything, he beats me senseless during the interim. But overall, I'm enjoying the game - just not this "level." (And it's not even a level really, it's just a fight!) Embarrassed [:$]

If you press X and Y at the same time, it's basically unstoppable.  Step in slightly to your opponent, and hit those two together.  Once in a while you may need to block, but with a little practice and timing, you pretty much cannot lose with XY at the same time.  I beat several bosses with that even without using takedowns at all.  Good luck.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: i now need an anger management course
why you gotta f*** with people? listen man, holding down xy at the same time isnt going to do anything except add to your frustration. Holding down x however will give you a fast kick to the stomach or hold y for a round house to the grill. if your sneaky sneaky though your can resolve most confrontations with a stealth take down or two or three or four if your sharp. then you can unleash three straight brutal joint breaks, or counter top eaters if you like. or pull out your 9mm an try and snap off a few to make for a much shorter fight( put it in the head and theyll drop) or you can shoot a combustable and take them all out.

Honestly people need to give this game a second look

Wow. I found the game to be too easy, especially the fighting. If you are having trouble, just hold A to block and wait for the cutscene for action. Once that completes, hit him with a couple punches and then back to blocking. Sure it takes forever, but it guarantees victory. On the timed fighting sequences, I just push x and y simultaneously and it's basically game over on any boss. He may get a shot in, but you get 3 back and you just basically beat him down.

Simple... tap X and Y together three times then hold A to block. Let your opponent do his cylce of punches (usually three hits) while you are blocking his and then do your combo again. Rinse and repeat. Once you have enough adrenaline, smash B button to do a more devasting hit and/or take down. All fights are about the same with the exception of some, so this can get boring but the fights are the easiest to perform once you figure them out.

Attempting the game on assassin, i agree with you in parts the game is unbelievable.
When shooting, headshots dont make a difference and AI take a good few shots to kill whereas I take very few, bull. :)

Nah head shots still work. I found you just need to hit more to the top of the head.

If you send me a FR please send a note saying who you are and where I know you from. Requests without info will be ignored.

Man, I've had this sitting on the shelf for a while now and still haven't played this yet. I'm on my seventh controller this year and down one TV. Don't be scaring me.

Sort of agree, still not 100 percent agree, I can sometimes shoot a good few times. Might install to HD.

Also, what advice have you for killing the professor, a guy with adamantium glasses that never break and is alot tougher to put down than Bourne, come on ..... far from whatever 'realistic' is supposed to be. Use 5/6 hand to hand take downs and still cannot finish him in the time span. Have tried storing the take downs and then going all out, nothing.

Yea, controllers are my enemy. The game either cheats or it's the controllers fault. Yea, sometimes my logic goes out the window.

I've got no problem with the fighting, im just so unbelievably stuck on the fight in the barn! I can beat him, just not in the 2 minutes you get given! What does XY pressed together do? does it do much damage? I havnt even come close to beating him, got his health down to about 3/4's before the barn falls down.
