After reading it carefully before i did it i realised that the "Sign out of Xbox Live" step was actually remove your Xbox from the internet so that your profile doesnt synch with the online server. Which is why the latter step states signing back in to upload the achievement to your profile. This way no Rainbow data synchronises so when you go back in the game as it is not aware that you removed all the data of your rank :D This is what should be made clear in the instructions as it will be the cause of many people permanently losing their rank no doubt!

Just be patient and wait for a patch like the rest of us.
Yes, it may be annoying at times to lose out on 75G for a short time, but surely you can make this up doing online achievements such as 150, 300, 500, 1000 multiplayers kills etc.

As I posted yesterday, I also did not receive the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement right away. After a couple of games of SHOWDOWN on co-op, achievement popped.

Now for an update. I had 4 friends on my list that also had this problem. After an ALL NIGHT gaming marathon with them, and doing co-op on showdown ALL 4 friends received their FSP achievement. Just thought it might be helpful. I will also be doing another marathon tonight with some others with this problem, and I will update in the morning.

I just spent 4 hours straight playing, and I didn't get the freedom shall prevail achievement. This is ridiculous.

The only achievement I am missing now is Private First Class.  Thats lame.  Any idea on when or if at all, there will be a patch anytime soon?

Wow the game has been out for a month now and still no info on the patch........?

Well I just reset my rank and got PFC so all I need is Freedom Shall Prevail now.  Already done all stages as Knight, so I don't know if I should replay stages on Normal as Knight or just play as Bishop to get it to pop up.  If anyone knows how to get it to pop when you've already done all the stages as Knight, that would be most excellent.  Otherwise, I guess it's back into waiting mode for a patch.

Hey i have the same problem ive beat the game three times now, but i didnt do it all as bishop do you have do to it as bishop to get this achievement?

Well thats a bit silly when there is a perfectly good fix that you can use where you wont lose anything and still get the achievement! What are you waiting for?!

Update: 5 friends...CO OP on Showdown 5 friends receive achievements. I had them try the level on single player, and no pop within 3 to 4 times of completing Showdon on CO OP achievements have popped! Kind of varied however. With those 5 achievements here is how it went..

1=Popped after first run.
2= Took three times for this one.
3.=Twice
4.=Twice
5. This was the strangest one of the night..took 5 times, and then popped while Gabe was still talking smack.

From what I can see, ALL of these achievements have been popped in CO OP Showdown only. Also, EVERYTIME we finished the complete level and allowed credits to scroll completely, and waited, and then went back into Showdown again. I knew that there were going to be questions on the hosting and such, but that has been squashed as far as I am concerned. 50% have been hosted by friends, and %50 percent have been made by me.

I will attempt to help. Search me up, or send me an invite while I am on later today, and I will be glad to assist..Let's not get crazy now ppl, I have limited space on my BL.

this whole achievement thing is so *** unnaceptable it is taking too long for them to fix this im missing out on like 85 gamerscore because of this *** and its really pissing me off

Nice man, thanks for the post.  So playing as Knight doesn't matter??  And difficulty doesn't matter either??  Basically you just have to continue to do the stage over and over and it may eventually pop, yes??

ya but I dont see myself really doing that.  I just really plan to wait for the patch

well fair enough, it took me like 20 mins to do it wheras a patch could be another few months. As i've said before, the small arms patch took well over 4 months to come out!! I imagine this will take a lot longer as it is two glitched achievements and possibly they'll consider fixing the ribbon, although there aren't many people who probably care about that i suppose

us and our gamer points, lols....yea me three i didn't get the freedom shall prevail achievement after completing on realistic level, ya kno i didn't really find the realistic mode very challenging, perhaps i died more but it was only a little harder and i did all that for nothing of course i did have fun.

Yes, so far, that is what I have ran into.Ill keep you updated. I'm going to try and  help at least one person a day. Patch could be months off. Just keep doing SHOWDOWN on realistic. Does not matter which character. Eventually it will pop. For those of you that are going to wait, well, go ahead. Thing is, I love that level, so am always up for a shot!!! Stay tuned!

iv just completed vegas 2 on realistic in single player mode and i havent recieved the achievement what gives?
surely ubisoft are gunna patch this has anyone else done it in single player and not recieved the achievement?

Not read of many people not getting it after completing it on single player right through. Try doing the first and then last act's as Knight. That might make it pop up for you
