Just asking.

I have 06 and love it, but I am looking to upgrade anyways.  I've seen that Tiger 07 got better reviews than 08.  I can get either one used for less than $30 US at GameStop (EB Games), but it looks like I've been leaning toward 07.  TW 07 has more courses than 06.

06 = good, cheap used, limited courses, no longer any DLC

07 = good reviews, more courses, fantasy courses, cheap used, no longer any DLC

08 = bad reviews compared to 06 & 07, under $30 used, still has DLC

09 = better reviews than 08, probably $ 55 used - if you can find it yet

I think 08 is better than 07 but pretty much it's still the same game.

Update: I picked-up 07, mainly for the extra courses.  It seems a little harder than 06, but I'm getting the hang of it.  There are no DLC left for 07, except for dashboard themes.

I just got 08 from Gamefly for $13.20 and got it in the mail today, seemed pretty worth it to him for that price

I think it's worth it. Lots of people online plus plenty to do in single player. I like the tri-click swing addition as well. Reminds me of playing the old golf games. I am still enjoying 08.

I'm not good in golf games.any advice.

Try the new tri-click swing method in 08. It is easier to me to hit the ball straight more often than not. It also makes it easier on the in between distances(40%-75% shots). The swing stick is way to sensitive for me. Give it a shot man it is a fun game and you can get it used cheap right now.

I think the game is worth it.
