Me and a mate wants to play online using the friends lobby. We both have 1 month free trial XBOX Live trial memberships. When he is in free play, I see him on my friends lobby as available. When I join game, XBOX live tells me the game is currently not available? Why is this and how can we fix it?

Things to consider:

• I use HD LCD, he uses a old tube tv
• Both of us use wireless, 3G internet connections
• Other players are easily able to connect to our games and I am able to join a quick match for other players.
