So im sure by now if youve picked up this game your finding out theyre is certain restrictions to getting achievements because of the updates to this game! But im here to tell you from personal experience its not that bad and everything is going to be ok! I will give you some specifics that will help you obtain all the achievements with mini-mal frustration but this probably isnt the only way to get things done incase someone comes in with theyre own strats my achievements speak for themselves though so its all good.
Okay, so to start off the play now! achievements include the following and its best to just play it legit without editing a thing because varisty is really easy...
1. Throw 4 TD's in a Game - Just manage to throw 4 touch downs in a game. (May be an after the game achievement so dont get scared)
2. 350/500 Passing Yarders are both just throw throw throw (After the game achievement)
3. 100 Rushing with 1player/200 Rushing Yards. Just run the ball alot and youll get these after the game.
4. No interceptions, Sacks or Fumbles - these are special teams and offense and its pretty straight forward just play it safe its possible to get in one game and they unlock after the game.
5. 5 Different recievers will unlock instantly i believe after you hit 5 recievers and its basically just hit 3 Wideouts 2 TE's or 1TE 1RB
6. 30/60 Run/Pass Unlock instantly and you probably know how to get these without an issue.
7. Intercept 2 passes - instantly unlocked and just play alot of man to man coverage youll get it by luck most likely.
8. Intercept, fumble, kick return, punt return for TD's - all unlock instantly just get that sucker in the end zone.
9. Held under 100/200 - You can take offsides off for this achievement and just blitz that QB (unlocks after the game) Punt to the sidelines always and onside kick just remember you dont wanna give up any special teams yards either.
10. 4 Sacks 2 Sack w/1 Player - When you do #9 youll get this achievements and its instantly.
11. Safety - you can probably get this doing #9 also if your pounding that QB to *** and one regular kickoff makes it slightly easier but make sure u keep him inside the 20 if u do it (instant unlock)
12. 50 yard FG / 50 Yard Punt - Florida Gators, Ohio State are both good for this but it can get kinda tough on the FG but the punt is just where the ball hits the bouncing doesnt count so make sure u have enough field for that and kick it long baby and the 50 yard FG is just getting to theyre 33 yardline being in the center of the field as it makes it way easier bringing down the arrow a nudge and letting it ripp!! I got it with dem Gators! (instantly unlocked in game)
13. Block a Punt/ Block a FG - The FG youll get if the computer scores because you just get lucky and block kicks in this game and the Punt you need to turn offsides off and go stand to the left of the guy or the right and when the ball snaps get kinda infront of him and hit y but dont tackle him or it doesnt count. (instantly unlocks)
14. Score 35 points/ Win by 21 Points/ Shutout - Straight forward and they unlock at the end. For the Shutout just be doing #9 and dont let the QB do much in the game and youll be fine.
Okay now heres where people tend to get extremely confused because you can sim some of these but not others! But im gonna tell you what to sim and what you cant itll make your life way easier trust me!
The Sim-able achievements: #1 Offense, #1 Defense, Undefeated, Heismen Trophy, and Mr Febuary, (60 years of dynasty but we dont count that) - Just select 12 really good teams and sim for like 3 years and all of these should unlock for you and if they dont keep going and sim everything dont do anything you dont really need too. these unlock after you finish the national championship or during the offseason.
Pickup and Play Achievements - Conference Champs, Bowl Win, National Champs, Dynasty Tryfecia, 5 Star Recruiting. WARNING these need to be done in a single team dynasty you cannot use 12 teams or more than one to the best of my knowledge!
Conference Champs - Just play as Florida or someone and sim until you have a game under Week C and play and win this game and youll get the achievement after the game. Leave the setting default or your wasting your time here.
Bowl Win - Same deal as the previiously described achievement but you need to win a bowl game like the sugar bowl and yes you hafta play it just sim a season with ohio state and BAM! youve got a bowl game.
National Champs/ Dynasty Tryfeca - Win the national championship but heres the kicker you need to play but i personally think the fastest way to do this is to do the following to get these both. Pick Ohio State start a dynasty do the sim and save method so your undefeated then sim and save the championship and make sure u won! then repeat this for 2 more seasons but on the 3rd season play the championship and win and boom at the end of the game youll get both of these sucks! Fyi - Sim and Save means Sim a game and if you win it save the dynasty and if you lose reload the dynasty and sim it again until you get the win.
Recruit 8 Five Star Recruits - Now this is a *** of an achievement not gonna lie any way you do this its gonna take like an hour. Best way to do it is if your doing the Previous achievement above after you won the 3rd straight championship game during that off season go to create a prospect x24 of any position cuz it doesnt really matter but mix it up just incase edit the lastname only with anything u want like player name = New Balls or something fun make him from Ohio and leave the city as Abron or w/e and get him to 99 Overall and make 24 guys like this as thats the max u can do then go recruit them by going into your state and if they have a green dot next to theyre name and your school (Ohio State) is in the top 4 just recruit them (5 star guys only) there should be a good amount of them and after youve targeted all the green dot guys just sim the rest of the recruiting process (in offseason menu) and then when it asks you to review the people u signed take a look and youll probably have like 11 guys at 5 star ratings and once u finish that fase of the off season it should unlock but it might be after the offseason is over so dont freak!
And there you have it the updated verison of the achievement guide after the patch! They made it so that you need to use alot of default settings for most achievements but it still isnt that hard guys you can get ur 1000/1000 so good luck to yall and try to have fun with it.
