First?

One of the easiest 200s on XBLA.  Getting the online wins is the only hurdle. :)

Geez. How did you even get the consecutive wins so fast? There's like me and two other guys on, I can't even get a match started within a reasonable time, let alone enough to win 5 in a row!

Got any tips for survival, though? It's crushing me. All bombs, are they kidding? Or is that just poor wording and do you just need to clear survival without caring about getting every single bomb?

already??? damn... although the demo seemed easy i must admit... i'm sure it'll take me longer but i'm going to go buy it now it seems really fun (i'm sure there will be no one online though)

You probably couldn't get matches started within a reasonable time frame last night cause you kept quitting early if you were going to lose when you were the host causing everyone else's game to end.  There was no way I was going to join another game with you after that.  It's one thing if you're not hosting, but when you're hosting you scr3w everyone else over.

I know, Funk. I was trying not to host, then I joined that guy G-something or other's game and I was about to kick massive *** and get my third win and he quit right when I was about to score the last word and that pissed me off so I decided to do the same to everyone else. Poor excuse, I know, but I was in a bad mood.

Several of us got together to do the online wins.  I sure didn't feel like taking my chances with random jerks online.  (Why, oh why, must online achievements exist?)

As for Survival... forget how the achievement's worded.  You can let bombs blow up on you (causing them to switch from one word to another).  You just can't run out of time before you've disarmed them all.

Got any tips specifically for level 8? I just can't do that one. I got lucky and made it to 8-3 once and I was praying it wouldn't be another cube...but of course it was. And I got easy to find words like "mom" and "dad."

Can't stand the cubes; I can never find anything worth a damn there.

I don't mind them when they're the kind that teach you to play or get better at the game, but I agree that this game has some dumb online achievements. Streak achievements pretty much always suck. They'd be all right if the TrueSkill system worked better and you'd have better odds against players on your level of skill; but as is, it pretty much sucks.

Not sure I can offer anything aside from standard word search tricks.  Pick one or two bomb words (with lots of time left on them) to look for.  Take an uncommon letter from one of the words (W, say) and examine every W in each of the 4 faces.  Repeat.

Finally in the club. Got my wins last night and was left with only level 8 to clear in survival, and I used a tip I got from SQNC. I just photographed the level with my phone camera and paused the game. Cheap and lame, but I couldn't stand that last level anyway.

Took me about 3 hours in total after buying it last night. Stupidly easy game. Arcade mode never ends and never gets harder, I had to deliberately lose. Survival mode was completed in about 30 minutes on the first attempt. Got the 5 online wins in my first 6 games online and the online ones were the first three achievements unlocked, maybe I was lucky as it seemed nobody else really knew what they were doing. However in one match I did give them no chance as I discovered nearly all the words in about 30s!

Fun whilst it lasted, not worth 800pts for one evening's entertainment though. I've seen everything it has to offer and I can't see the point in ever playing Arcade or Freeplay again. Survival mode is the only mode worth replaying to increase score.

Once you get the achievments the only fun is to play with your girlfriend or boyfriend to see who is the faster one ;)

Typically I try to avoid boosting in games but for this it is practically a must.

I have been sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes and not ONE person has joined.  It is the simple fact that there is hardly no way to do this legit because most of the time there is a lack of players to even get the achievement.  Even if I was lucky enough to get a second player in my game it isn't like we could start the game.

If any of you who have already got the achievement are willing to give some of your time and help me I would greatly appreciate it.  Also if you have no gottent he achievement and are reading this as I have then feel free to send me a message and we can team up to get this. 

Yeah, it's pretty common for online achs to be practically impossible without boosting. :-/  If I'm online and you need help, let me know and I'll come join.

Everything but online was extremely easy...the only reason online wasnt easy was because noone played it and rounding up the people took forever.
