want to buy the game but i hear so much about lockups...you played game did you have any,,plus i heard the framrate takes a drop when heres alot of action...is this true or false info from review sites

never had it lock up its the camera angles that suck really bad.if your locked onto an enemy you cant see where your going and if you get unlocked to the enemy to see where your going you cant see them come up and smack you.its stupid.

There's never going to be a perfect game, however, I find this to be as close to perfect as Superhero games have gotten.  I've even grown to like the voice they used as Spider-Man.

really? i'm curious as to what lead you to this conclusion. could you please ellaborate as to why its only a rental. i was intrested in checking this game out myself but am on the fence because of the gossip on the freezes and glitches

Its not a big mystery. The game is just not worth buying. Its very easy,gets repetititve,not much depth,prety linear and things of that nature.Again its a fun game to play but simply not worth buying,not sure why any one would asume a spider-man game would be worth buying anyway.

Ugh this game was so disappointing...repetitive combat and boring enemies, a lame mishmashed plot and hobbled controls.  Don't even bother renting it.

I agree this is a fun addictive game, I think the best spiderman game i've played so far. Just wished they put some of the sneaking around inside buildings and such from the first PS2 spiderman game.

i would have to say this is the best spider man game yet...

i knoow my friend is probably going to be getting a hold of this game so i'll see how this game is by then and make a note of the pros and cons and figure out whether i'm going to get this title or not

RENTED IT TOO KINDA OF REPEATIVE BUT THE COMBO AND BOSS BATTLES MORE THAT MAKE UP HOW THAT THE VULTURE BATTLE ALONE IS WORTH THE 8.50 RENTAL FEE As far as glitches and lock up there where a few but nothing major...camrea ange can get crazy sometimes but can easily be adjusted with a web strike..rent dont buy it unlees the price on it drops

Im loving it to be honest, its the best Spiderman game I have played, and probably one of my fave comic games in general, I cant think why, but it is sooo addictive, just swinging about, its awesome lol, really brings out the kid in you, I also like doing silly thiings like turning into Venom mid swing, it looks so awesome.

The first 2 acts were fun but the 3rd was horrid.
