It's better than Civil War. The guns shoot well. The game has that going for it. Civil War had nothing going for it. Battle for the Pacific is a two hour game with the worst enemy AI on a 360 FPS. Even on hard, 'Hour of Victory' has enough challenges thrown in to make it even remotely challenging. After zooming through on 'easy' in about an hour and forty minutes, you'll want to give it a second time through on 'Hard' difficulty. Unfortuneately, although the achievements are a breeze, you'll feel like you've just played through easy again (Take a look at gameplay videos -- there is ONE point in the game with even the possibility of dying).
It warrants a rental for easy GS. Don't buy it. Please. :)
