Are there any achievements that require you to find collectibles of any sorts? I hate that kind of stuff, in the first game there were achievements for finding all the robots and finding every enemy etc. Is there anything like that in this game

Not really. There isn't an achievement for finding all the artwork or music in this game. And even though you need to collect robot parts to upgrade all your weapons, there are more robot parts in the game than you actually need. Not to mention I found the robot locations to be much easier to find then they were in the first.

 

You do have to track down a bunch of story driven items, but they aren't that hard to find when you are exploring the areas.

The items in the first episode are not that hard to find either. If you're having a problem finding things, there's always YouTube.

I think it's on the floor in the area where you were being held prisoner in the asylum.  I remember it being in the section where someone was set up to be tortured, but it was in the lower right part of that zone.
