So I thought I would try playing PGR2 again, but I can't download the update so that I can sign onto Live.  Whenever it tries to download it, I get the classic green Xbox background and progress bar, but then it errors saying "unable to continue due to technical difficulties"  I've tried this on two 360's and they both do the same thing.  But if I use my old 20gb hdd it works just fine because it already has the update on it.  Anyone else having the same problem?

Have you tried downloading and installing the XBox compatibility DVD? The one released shortly after the 360 was released and updated mutlitple times since?

I've cleared my HDD cache and redownloaded the backwards compatibility update twice, the game starts up and I can play it, I just can't connect to Live and download the game update.

I'm not seeing this problem.  Is it still happening?

It works now? Awesome! I was trying to get the Paris pack with the old Porsche in it. I thought it wasn't going to work because I did not have an original Xbox. When I get a chance again I'll pop the disk in and give it a go. Thanks!
