Re: COD:WAW FAQ

1. Interview with David Vohnderhaar

http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=33602

Question 8: Are the "Monkey" and "Play Dead" perks?

Vahn's Response: When you guys read about rumors like climbing trees and playing dead, many (but not all) of those things we talked about doing (some we even prototyped) and (some) turned out not to be fun. For example: Playing dead was not much fun. The game is too fast paces and deadly. What ended up happening was people just walking around shooting bodies. That is not the game we wanted to make.

Question 9: Will there be rewards for head-shots other than XP?

Vahn's Response: No. XP only, it took a lot of memory to add weapon camos and in most cases didn't look good on WWII guns. The memory was used to add/upgrade other gameplay features.

Question 12: The tanks are overpowered!

Vahn's Response: We didn't want a tank to be able to be taken out with just 1 player by himself.
That didn't feel right at all. We tried it.
However, if 2 players work together and concentrate on the armor weak spot, destroying a tank is not difficult at all.

Question 13: Juggernaut-Overpowered, Stopping Power-Underpowered, Flak Jacket-Worthless.

Vahn's Response: I wanted to reply to this specific point because it's a common misconception. Whenever we see something like the above post, we are baffled by it.

Stopping Power is ignored when it's runs into someone with Juggernaught. In that situation, it's like neither of you have the perk.

To be super clear about this, I am not saying that Juggernaught does +10 and Stopping Power does -10. It's not balanced that way. At all.

But, I am saying that in-game logic the "benefit" of having the Perk is completely and totally ignored.

As to your complaint about the grenades and flak jacket?

We will have to agree to disagree here. Many community members complained that COD4's grenades were too powerful and spammy.

In a game mode like War and HQ, you will be thinking about that Flak Jacket.

If you are very used to the grenade splash damage (really the range because the damage is very similar) in COD4, this will feel a bit different.

Question 14: Will there be a swear filter?

Vahn's Response: We don't currently have any plans to implement a swear filter. The game is rated 'M' for Mature and is very violent. Swearing and gibs are a part of the game.

Question 15: Will there be in-game host migration?

Vahn's Response: No. COD3 had host migration because COD3 was a peer to peer game, where COD:WaW is a client-server game. We have always said that this game was built on the COD4 engine. This is one of the trade-offs you make.

Question 16: I'm worried everyone will use the flamethrower and it will be VERY overpowered.

Vahn's Response: The Flamethrower unlocks at a very high level. So, people will have to decide if they want the Flamethrower or they want to Prestige and unlock more Create a Class slots.

I don't think you will see large numbers of games with large numbers of people camping out at level 64 with the Flamethrower.

It's a short range weapon that also says, "Shoot me, I have a Flamethrower."

It's DEADLY. Don't get me wrong. It's BRUTAL. But, it's not worse than any other weapon in the game.

Until we have enough data that says we botched up the Flamethrower and it's over powered and the entire community has leveled up to 64 and does not want to Prestige so they can keep their flamethrower – I’ll take a wait and see attitude.

We almost made it a kill streak item, which would allow us to limit the number in the world. However, in the end we didn’t need to. It’s just like any other Perk weapon. It has advantages and disadvantages. It will work for some play styles and not work for others. I’ve wracked up huge kill streaks with it and I’ve been knifed in the face by the guy I was trying to kill.

Question 17: Why can't my gun turn any farther when mounted on a bipod? Is this supposed to happen?

Vahn's Response: It depends on what you are mounting against.

All COD games normally take a lot of creative liberty with what happens in first person vs third person.

Some examples:

-notice how you always have to look up at everyone even though you are the same height (camera placement for the guns).

-notice how you can walk up right to the wall and you don't have to lower your gun?

With the bipod mounting feature, it was a lot tougher.

While it feels to you that you should be able to move around in 1st person, if you looked at yourself in 3rd person, something is in your way. It could be something small, it could be something large.

We had it the way you suggested for about a week, but then guys would "float" in air or their legs would be inside a wall, etc., all. We had to change it.

Unfortuantly, it meant restricting the player movements which is never an easy decision for us.

Am I 100% happy with the bipod attachment right now? No. It would be a lie to tell you that I think this feature is perfect, because I don't. We are working on feature enhancements.

Please don't ask me for a timeline, because I'd be making it up.

Question 21: Bouncing Betties are hard to avoid, any tips?

Vahn's Response: Their are two defenses against them. Bomb Squad and Flak Jacket, one for the careful or sneaky player and one for the run and gun player.

Re: COD:WAW FAQ
  • What Playlists are there?

Off the top of my head, I'm sure TDM, FFA, SnD, CTF, DOM, and War will make a return. There's bound to be more. Also, again there will be separate playlists without vehicles for those who like and don't like them.

  • Will you be able to have multiple people on live with the same xbox?

This is unconfirmed. I would assume so because it's made by Treyarch, but it's just a guess.

    • To add onto this, 2 people will be able to play on the same xbox on LIVE, but for co-op. It hasn't been said whether or not they could do ranked matches.
  • Will the radar online be a compass or a map?

A map, just like COD4's, but the single will have the standard compass like 2 or 3.

  •  How will the spawns work? I disliked the spawns in COD4...

There is a new neat spawn system installed in the game, which will determine where snipers are, where enemies are, where grenades are being thrown, etc, to decide the best spawn location for you.

  • Anything special for Michael Phelps?

Not only will he get the first copy of the game, a character will be named after him.

  • Will sprinting return?

Yes it will.

  • Will there be rifle grenades?

Yes there will be. It's like a early grenade launcher.

  • I never played war, how does it work?

War is a gametype introduced in COD3. It presented a certain amount of flags on the map (5 for large maps, 3 for small maps) where you had to capture all of the flags to win. It's like domination, but you could only catch one flag at a time. Matches could last hours.

  • I hear there will be a healing perk, how will that work out?

What they did for a medical perk is if someone was in last stand, you could heal him before he dies. Treyarch is currently testing to see how it would work in SnD.

  • Why does the BAR sound different from COD2?

Because of the new gun sounds technology, some of the members of Treyarch went down to a shooting range, and shot off some WW2 guns. Then, back at the studio, they made effects to the noise to make it sound almost exactly the same in real life.

  • Will the modded controller thing ever be fixed?

Likely not, but look on the bright side: In WW2, everything had slow fire rates, and you couldn't fire any faster then the firing rate allowed you to. Also, a 60$ headset or some type of surround-sound system will always be better then a 120$ controller.

  • Will hardcore be in this game?

Yes, it will be.

B. Limited Edition FAQ

  • What does the cover look like?

FAQ:

  • What is 'Co-op'?

Co-op is the mode that allows you to play with more then one player on the same console, tackling the story of the game together. There is more to this then story as well, modes that allow you to work together cooperatively (hence the term 'Co-op') also count for this.

  • How does Co-op work?

Co-op differs from titles for balance. In The Halo Series, when you died in the middle of the story, you would spawn later, depending on how many enemies are in the vicinity, and if your teammates are actively engaging combat.

In Call of Duty: World at War, you will go into last stand and you will need your teammates to recover you before a background timer you can't see expires, or you will restart from the last checkpoint. Last stand works by dropping to the ground, with 1 health unit left, unable to move, and you switch to your pistol. You can recover him by going next to him and pressing the X button.

  • Will Co-op count towards our online rank?

Like Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2, you will be able to.

  • Can you unlock Nazi Zombies through Co-op?

Sadly, no you can't.

  • Can you play Co-op on Zombie Mode?

Yes.

Competitive Co-op:

How does this work?
This works so whoever gets the most points at the end of the level wins. It turns "Just stay alive", into "I get first shot!". You can get points by reviving your friend, killing enemies, headshots, ect. Watch out though, when you go into last stand, you lose points!

How do you get this?
I believe this mode is available directly at the start.

Regular Co-op:

How does it work in this game?
The game goes along fine and smoothly like it did before, except that you go into last stand whenever you die, and your teammates have to revive you. Much like the downing system in Gears of War.

What levels can you do?
You can do all except Vendetta and Black Cats.

Re: COD:WAW FAQ

3. Zombie Mode
A. Quick FAQ

  • What is this?

Zombie mode is a new mode made for Co-op, equivalent to Gears of War 2's newly added Horde mode, or Rainbow Six Vegas's terrorist hunt, only the style and concept is slightly different from those two.

  • How will it work?

Basically, what will happen is you and your Comrades will be left all alone in a building, with zombie Germans storming the house and getting in using any interest they can find.

  • How many waves will there be?

Waves are unlimited.  The highest wave # reached @ activision/treyarch so far has been Round 27. (quote from Coffee Cat)

  • What are the upgrades for?

As you kill enemies, you gain points, which you can spend on for barricades, blocks, Guns, and other things.

  • How do you get this mode?

You must first beat the story, you may in either Co-op or Solo.

B. Concept

  • Being a equivalent to Horde or terrorist hunt, you should know that it's survive the enemy onslaughter for as long as you can hold out. They come in waves, each wave getting harder to kill, stronger, and faster. Also walking up to certain objects will let you 'buy' a upgrade on defenses. As they break through and attempt to kill you, You are setting up barricades, and killing whatever made it inside. Survive through all of the waves to win.

C: Revealed Upgrades and Buyables:

  • Buyables
    • M1A1 Carbine - 600 points to buy - 300 for ammo
    • Unscoped Kar98k - 200 points to buy - 100 for ammo
    • BAR - 1800 points to buy - 900 for ammo
    • M1897 Trench Gun - 750 for both buying and ammo
    • Double Barrel Shotgun - 1200 points to buy - 600 for ammo
    • Random weapon chest - 950 points to open
    • Thompson - 1300 points to buy - 600 for ammo
    • Cabinet (Scoped Kar98k) 1500 points to open - 750 for ammo
    • Stielhandgrenate - 250 points
    • Sawed-off shotgun - 1200 points - 600 for ammo
    • Opening up the room with scratched sign - 1000 points
    • Clearing debris to second story - 1300 points
  • Upgrades
    • Insta kill - One hit kills for 30 seconds.
    • Double XP - Gain twice as many points for 30 seconds.
    • Fire bomb - Kills all zombies currently in level.
    • Max ammo - Gives the max amount of ammo you can carry.

D. Zombie Statistics

  • A. Health, Damage, and Speed
    • Health
      • Health is relative to what round you are at. They start off at 150 health, then go up by 100 until round 10. After that they go up by multiples of 1.1. So for example:
        • Round 11: 1155 health
        • Round 12: 1270
        • Round 13: 1397
        • Round 14: 1537
        • Round 15: 1691
        • Round 64: 180465
        • Round 100: 5578673
    • Damage
      • Damge is dealt at 50 per hit, and you have 100 health, so a good 1-2 punch and you're out.
    • Speed
      • The speed of which they move increase until round 10, where they become a the maximum amount of speed they can go, which you can still go faster going backwards with a LMG.
  • B. Quantity

In Solo, the zombies reach a capacity of 24 zombies per round.
In Co-op, the zombies after Round 10 increase in number exponentially, relative to the number of players (there will only be a maximum of 32 zombies at a time, more will continue to file in as existing ones are killed). If I did the math right (just guessing right now), a team of four players will face 100+ zombies in a single round by Round 28.

  • C. Planks

Rebuilding barriers has a maximum payout of 500 points per round after Round 10. You may be able to just keep rebuilding, but after 50 planks of wood, you won't get any points it until next Round. Before round ten, multiply 50 by the round number and that's how many points you can get from rebuilding barriers in that round.

E. Zombie mode videos

  • Zombie trailer
  • Waves 1-4 1 player
  • Waves 17-20 4 players
  • Activisions first gameplay video concerning Zombies, plus short Co-op

    4. Achievements
    Guardian Angel (15g)

Tip: Simply just beat Semper Fi on the solo campaign.

    Stormed Peleliu - 15G
Establish a beachhead on the island of Peleliu on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Tip: Simply just beat Little Resistance on the solo campaign.

    War Hero - 40G
Complete the game on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Tip: Just beat the game. Take your time with it and juice it the information. You are going to need it on veteran.

    Saved Private Ryan - 10G
Save the soldier before he burns to death. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: On Semper Fi,  Private Ryan will be attacked by a burning Japanese soldier shortly after you enter the area where the two paths meet. Shoot the Japanese Soldier and Roebuck should congratulate you for saving him. The achievement should be yours.

Weapon of Mass Destruction - 15G
Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: On Little Resistance, you need to call an airstrike to progess through the level. Just throw it where the MG is located at the start of the level and you should get the achievement. For some odd reason you don't, you have an unlimited supply of the airstrike so you can always try later.

    The Professional - 15G
Shoot all of Amsel's henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading. (Solo only)

Tip: On Vendetta, Reznov will ask you to snipe all of General Amsel's henchmen:
-Take out the two guys to the right with a single bullet.
-The middle ones with a single bullet,
-Two bullets for the guys to the left.
-Wait for the dog to come near the soldier. Move to the left and shoot both.
    Video Guide

    Gunslinger - 15G

Assassinate General Amsel with a pistol shot. (Solo only)

Tip: On Vendetta after you kill the sniper in the window, pick up the pistol on the table. Progress through the level till you get to the very end where you have to kill Amsel. There is a glitch if you shoot all of your bullets it will restock you with 80 bullets. You must shoot him in the head. This can be difficult.
    Video Guide

    No Safe Place - 15G
Burn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in 'Hard Landing' (Solo or co-op)

Tip: Easy to get on Hard Landing, you will be told to pickup the flamethrower. You will be heading towards the airstrip. After you will see some Banzai attackers. While fighting them there should be one guy in a tree. Aim at the tree with the flamethrower and it should catch ablaze. This can also be earned on Burn em' out.

    Iron Fist - 15G
Destroy all towers and bunkers in 'Blood and Iron'. (Solo or co-op)
    (Thanks to Gamefaqs)

Tip: On 'Blood and Iron', there are bunkers and towers  around the level. Look around the entire level for towers and bunkers to destroy(water towers also count). You should slowly go through every single area on the mission to make sure you have not missed any. Here is a step by step guide on how to get the achievement:

    Towers:
    1. Red water tower just after you turn the first corner.
    2. Red water tower directly behind the first water tower.
    3. To the left of the far-left artillery gun.
    4. To the right of the far-right artillery gun, in between the two bunkers.
    5. Behind the right bunker.
    6. To the far right, you will see it to the left of a tank sitting on the hill.
    7. Before you turn right to destroy the Radio Tower you will see some Russian soldiers running across a field, look into the distance and you will see a red water tower.
    8. To the left of the Radio Tower.
    9. To the right of the Radio Tower.
    10. Behind the left side of the big bunker.
    11. To the east of the big bunker.
    12. As you come over the hill you will see it to the left of the trenches with a tank in the middle.
    13. To the right of the previously mentioned tank.
    14. As the planes fly over they destroy this one but just check they do.
    15. The furthest right you can go, north on your compass, next to some concrete blocks.
    16. Follow the concrete blocks down to the left, you should see it as you drive into the train station.

    Bunkers:
    1. To the right of the far-right artillery gun.
    2. To the right of Tower #4.
    3. As you turn right in to the field with the Radio Tower look to the left a little bit, there is a bunker slightly hidden in the trees. You will see rockets fly at you from the bunker.
    4. You can't miss it as you come up the hill. There are two parts to it, left and right, make sure you destroy both.

    Ruthless - 15G
Kill 15 enemies while mounted on a tank in 'Ring of Steel'. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: On 'Ring of Steel', when coming out of the Asylum you will see 2 tanks a lot of retreating german soldiers. Hop on to one of the tank's MGs and start killing people.

    Shot in the Dark - 10 G
Kill 10 enemies while the lights are out in the subway in 'Eviction'. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: Pretty easy. When in the subway the lights will flicker on and off. When they are off just start killing people. They will go off a lot so there are plenty of chances.

The Sum of All Zeros - 15G
Down 45 Japanese Zeros in 'Black Cats'. (Solo only)

Tip: This can be difficult. You should play on Recruit. All you want to do is aim for the Zeros. You DO NOT need to help survivors. Concentrate your fire on the zeros. For further away planes you must lead your shots. You have a chance at the very end to shoot down a lot of Zeros.

    Lights Out! - 10G
In 'Black Cats', blast out all of the spot lights in the Japanese cargo convoy. (Solo only)

Tip: Basically there are to spotlights on each shipe you pass. 1 on the front and 1 on the back. Destroy all of them and this achievemnt is yours.

    Mortar-dom - 10G

Kill 8 Japanese with thrown mortars in 'Breaking Point'. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: On 'Breaking Point', you will come across  mortars on crates.  Pick these up and throw them at enemies. I found it effective just to pick up mortars from the previous pit and use them to take out the next one.

    Rough Economy - 15G
Kill 3 enemies with a single bullet. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: You can do this anywhere. Easy would be to after "The Professional" achievement you show wait around a second in cover and there should be 5 soldiers that get into a perfect line. This is also easy on Nazi Zombies.

    Kamikaze- 15G

Complete any level on Regular difficulty or higher using only melee and grenades. (Solo only)

Tip: On 'Semper Fi', use your teammates wisely and smoke grenades. Use your knife when there are small groups of people. Use your grenades for big groups such as the part where the japanese play dead.

    Close Shave - 10G

Survive a Banzai attack. (Solo only)

Tip: This works just like the way you kill a dog in CoD4. Let a Banzai attack you. When he is about to stab you press RS and you should counter with a stab to the neck.

Snake in the Grass - 15G
Take out a Japanese soldier while he is lying in wait in the grass. (Solo or co-op)

Tip: During Little Resistance or Blowtorch and Corkscrew would be the easier, You can sometimes spot japanese laying in the grass. If you see them from a distance, chuck a grenade over there to get a safe kill.

Get Your Hands Dirty - 30G
Complete 'Semper Fi' on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Refer to 'Bearing the Burden' for tips.

    Bloody Peleliu - 30G
Complete 'Little Resistance' on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Refer to 'Bearing the Burden' for tips.

    JAG's Death Card Guide

There are 13 Death Cards that can be activated as cheats (similar to the H3 skulls) in co-op.  The effects and locations are below.  There is one card in each level, aside from the two vehicle missions.

    Thunder
    Level:
Semper Fi - Eight of Hearts
Effect:  Steady hands pack a powerful punch.  headshots cause enemies to explode.
Location:  At the very begining, fter leaving the shack, you should see another shack to the right.  It's in there.

    Hard Headed
    Level:
Little Resistance - Four of Clubs
Effect:  Keep your finger on the trigger.  Enemies take less bullet damage.
Location:  This is at the end of the level.  Before going into the last buidling, look to the right.  It's in a corner of bushes.

    Suicide King
    Level:
Hard Landing - King of Hearts
Effect:  Go down fighting.  Fire explosive pistol rounds while downed.
Location:  Lower level of the big building.  Before you enter this building there is a mini-trench outside.  It's to the right when you go into the room with the stairs.  About half-way through the mission.

    Cold Dead Hands
    Level:
      Vendetta - Five of Diamonds
Effect:  Save your brass.  Enemies take their weapons with them to the grave.
Location:  After going through the sniper part at the first of the mission, Reznov leads you through a building.  Follow the bar around to the end and there you go.

    Sticks & Stones
    Level:
Their Land, Their Blood - Joker
Effect:  Hope you've got a strong arm.  your weapon arsenal consists of a knife and a bunch of rocks.
Location:  After destroying the tanks, you go through a barn.  Search the stalls to your right.

    Vampire
    Level:
Burn 'em Out - Queen of Hearts
Effect:  Steal life from your prey.  Only recharge your health by getting kills.
Location:  Just before the second mortar position, there is a bunker to the left.  Inside is a Death Card.

    Flak Jacket
    Level:
      Relentless - Nine of Diamonds
Effect:  No more easy grenade kills.  Enemies take less explosive damage.
Location:  This is at the end of the mission.  You choose either to go down the left path or the right path.  Eventually you'll run into a path that connects the two.  Midway down the pathway is the Death Card.

No Death Card on "Blood & Iron" !!!

    Body Armor
    Level:
Ring of Steel - Jack of Spades
Effect:  Hone your accuracy.  Enemies die by headshot only.
Location:  As soon as you enter the asylum, go the the left.  It's in the far bottom left corner.

    Undead Soldier
    Level:
      Eviction - Ace of Spades
Effect:  This is a different kind of war. Enemies are back from the dead with a vengeance.
Location:  Well hidden.  At one point you'll see a room to your right that has a huge hole in it.  Just drop down and it's right there.  It's in the first half of the mission, just after the kitchen area.

No Death Card on "Black Cats" !!!

    Painkiller
    Level:
Blowtorch & Corkscrew - Ten of Clubs
Effect:  Make your weapon useful for a change.  Shoot downed Co-Op teammates to revive them.
Location:  This is to the left as you go toward the second bunker.  You'll see a Japanese soldier hanging upside down near this one.

    Berserker
    Level:
Breaking Point - Three of Diamonds
Effect:  You have an animal rage.  Get three kills in five seconds to unlease the Berserker..
Location:  After cleaning up all of the four mortar pits, head to the small shack in the south of this area.  It's in there.

    Paintball
    Level:
Heart of the Reich - Six of Clubs
Effect:  Can't handle the brutality of war?  Try paintball guns.
Location:  This is in the closed-off subway entrance across the street from the start of the mission.

    Victory
    Level:
      Downfall - Two of Spades
Effect:  You've defeated the entire Nazi empire at the Reichstag.  Now go back and do it again with the merciless nature of real war.  Limit your HUD, turn on friendly fire, and bleed out in half the time.
Location:  Before you get to the theater, a couple of your allies break through a door to your right.  It's right in here.

    Good Luck!

    Online FAQ
    1. Welcome

Hello and welcome to the CoD:WaW Multiplayer FAQ, including in-game weapon statistics. Hopefully this will help you find any information you need to know about the online portion of the game and more. This guide will most likely be expanded on over time to provide more info. Enjoy. :)

    2. Ranks and XP

The ranking system in Call of Duty: World at War is a persistent system which requires kills, challenges beaten, assists, objectives taken, and challenges on co-op campaign.

There are 65 levels in Call of Duty: World at War (for Prestige info, see part 8), each time you get a promotion, you either receive an unlock, or receive some XP.

    Ways to gain XP:
    • Kill
      • 50 points in Search and Destroy
      • 10 points in Sabotage, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag
      • 5 points in Free-For-All, Domination, War and Headquarters
    • Assist:
      • 25 points in Search and Destroy
      • 2-8 points in Sabotage, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag
      • 1-4 points in Free-For-All, Domination, War and Headquarters
    • Complete objective:
      • 15 points for flag capture in Domination or War
      • 100 points for planting/defusing bomb in Search and Destroy
      • 100 points for capturing flag in CTF
      • 15 points for being the first to destroy the HQ
      • 15 points for capturing HQ + 5 points for every 5 seconds it's held
      • 15 points for defusing Sabotage bomb
    3. Challenges

Challenges are back and use the same system as Call of Duty 4. When a challenge is complete, you will receive XP, except for weapon Marksman challenges, which awards you with weapon attachments. Challenges are unlocked at Level 5.

Marksman challenges may award you with attachments like the Aperture Sight, Telescopic Sight, Rifle Grenade, Extra Munitions, Sniper Scope or Bayonet. Certain weapons allow certain attachments.

He was given the PS3 version, and there is a character named after him somewhere in the game.

    Re: COD:WAW FAQ
I've come across a random glitch in the gameplay. Unfortunately I don't have any video evidence to show you, but I will see if it can be replicated. It's a fatal glitch which makes you start the level over because there is no other way out, or quit to main menu.

    Details of User/Player

    Level: Breaking Point
Approx Locale: Approaching the Enemy hill to continue the mission towards the set of mortar pits.
Difficulty: Recruit ( I was going in to save Roebuck for an achievement)
    Platform: Xbox 360

    Symptoms:
I kill a "bonzai" with my heavy mg from the hip.(its whatever hmg is laying next to the ammunition pile in the beginning of the level)

I see the "bonzai" drop to the ground dead(tear, write a letter to his mother)

I somehow also drop to the ground as if I am going to be stabbed to death, but there is no "bonzai" to finish the job. I have killed the MG firing at you from atop the gate, and have advanced where no one is killing me, or because its in that special mode to escape and I can't die.

In game looks like your looking at the sky watching seagulls or whatever birds they are flying around. You can't move your cursor around, there is no crosshair, or zoom if hitting the right button for it.

    Possible outs:

I try killing myself by throwing a grenade and letting time expire. won't work cause you can't throw a grenade.

The only way out is to hit pause and either restart the level OR save and quit to the main menu and reload your last check point.

I understand random game glitches happen, and programmers can't test every action of the game, and coding process. Since it was only recruit difficulty, its not that big of a deal to me, because its recruit. However if someone were on veteran, its a major buzz-kill if the last check point was a while ago. This might lead to angry users/players and heavy slander of "bad programming." I read the entire FAQ and it has some really good information contained within it. Maybe I was just unlucky coming across this in game glitch, but all it might take is a simple patch. I was wondering if you still had contact with that programmer/developer to relay the message. I also realize I am a small statistic, but you can't forget the little guy. :]

If I were to make a more in-depth mission guide (not just videos, like an intext walkthorugh w/ vids, possible achievements and death cards in that level), would it be legit and good and all or would it be useless because you have a section on mission walkthroughs.
