Ok I have been researching for some time and I have come up with a theory:

The canon is that Revan left to look for the true sith. He went there and then the jedi Exile followed him. 300 years later the sith return with a mysterious emperor leading them. Could Revan not have made himself emperor? In a second attempt to help the republic? Remember he only started the Jedi Civil war to HELP the republic in the long run. Any thoughts?

You lost me at Revan, I thought Revan was in Knights of the Old Republic played by the player. Also if they use Revan in a different game how do they determine Revans gender if you could choose your gender in Knights of the Old Republic? Also how does he live for 300 years?

Sorry my Star Wars lore isn't all that, though I always loved this game, lol.

first off, what is cannon? Second off, how could revan live to be roughly 330 years old, and lastly what is this about Revan starting the Jedi Civil war to help the republic??? Revan was EVIL he killed inocent people.

While I don't particularly agree with your theory, anything is possible. After all, Yoda lived to be over 800 years old. I'm assuming that the force had something to do with that.

Ok here's my two geeky cents... In the game you choose gender, but canon, i.e. official story, have Revan as Male and he went to the darkside but was redeemed. Now This MMO imo is killing a KotOR III with Revan in it 'cause it's saying Revan went to the Unkown regions but never make it back, and now 300 year later a Sith Emperor did come and conquer the Republic WTF!!! Revan is PURE FORCE POWER how can he not Destroy the True Sith!!! 

1.yota was over 900 years old (when 900 year you reach)
2.he was not a human
3.raven would not come back after 300 years when human only live to be90 if there lucky
4.the sith were what her was to help stop
my only question is what happen to all the others?

Revan is canonically male and lightside.Exile is female and lightside.Was confirmed by Lucasarts secondly, revan can live to be 330, definitely.In some of the KOTOR comic books several human characters are hundreds of years old, due to the force.

wow, thats enlightening. Well ther is hope in seeing revan or the exile in the new MMO. And that just reminded me to go get the other kotor books. I only bought the first one a long long time ago...

There be no Revan or Exile in this MMO...Bioware storyline is that Revan never made it back from the Unknown regions, instead a powerful Sith Emperor come to conquer the Republic. They also state that  the exile suffers the same fate as Revan...

You're mixing the story up a little. Revan gathered a large number of Jedi followers and led them and the Republic military to victory in the Mandalorian Wars. He then turned to the Dark Side, discovered the Star Forge, and came back to conquer the Republic, not to help it.

After KOTOR, Revan went to find the original Sith Empire, which had been hiding and rebuilding itself to take on the Republic once again. 300 years later, the Sith Empire comes back and drops a can of whoop-a#@ on the Republic.

Look up Revan on the Wookieepedia website and it states that Revan encountered something beyond the Outer Rim which caused him to return and take over the Republic believing he was strengthening it against this threat he found. This is revealed in Kotor 2 by Kreis I believe when she mentions Revam left military strategic planets intact. Because Revan himselfbecame the leader of the Sith to save the republic.

Jedis can life for a very long time, even humans so 300 is not that far feathed as it sounds. Also this is Revan we are talking about. He could easily live for a long time.
