If you need some tips on how to obtain the achievements in this survival zombie shooter, then maybe this guide will be of some use. The achievements are pretty straight forward for the most part. But I hope this will offer some assistance.

CURING THE INFECTION... ONE BULLET AT A TIME

I have a question about the All 4 Dead achievement. Do you have to kill the survivors or just incapacitate them?
Also thanks.

I'm pretty sure you have to kill all of the survivors to get the achievement.

False. You only have to incap them. I got the achievement by only incapping them.

No what I'm saying is that he got up to 3, no matter if he had it lowered before, at a 3 you should know most of the ways of the forum.

so CUL has got something to do with it, because you would expect a Cul 4 to know more than a Cul 1 right?

Normal? no of course not, if you complete what needs to be done for an achievement, you should get it. Why? should you have an achievement you haven't got?

It has happend to me twice now!!!!
I have completed 2 campaigns going for the pistol only cheev, and twice I hav not got it! It is hard as *** when they charge at ya in their masses and you only got a crappy little pistol.
First time around, I did use some explosives, which I thought afterwards was the reason why I never got it. Second time around, I did use melee occasionally. Is this why? Can you only use bullets and nothing else?
If someone can help me, I will be grateful to you. Its one that is doin my head in. Not to mention tryin to sneak past al the witches, only for an AI teammate to run up to her at every available oppurtunity and anger her. So I leave my team behind to take her fury!! That'll teach them!

I got this offline with the AI on the first level. Remember not to use the gun emplacements, I also did not pick up any other weapons apart from a secondary pistol. Oh, and set the difficulty to easy so the AI can do most of the work. Melee is definitely your friend when using pistols only.

Yes, many I should have.Like All 4 dead I incapacitated all four(hit car,got 2 of them,then got other 2).
Also my cousin came over and he recovered his gamertag on my 360.He wanted me to get him some achievements.
All the achievements that should of unlocked for him didn't unlock,like towering inferno,chain smoker,and more.

Thanks ShadowMask, your advice helped me big time. I had been using minigun placements which stopped me gettin the cheev. Its hard with just pistols and melee, but I got there in the end.
I also got cheevs for, not disturbing witch, and not bein incapped at the same time!! Let the AI members take the flak from the enemies while I stayed safe in a closet!!  LOL
Only cheev that is frying my noodle is Friendly Fire!! WHY DO THEY STAND IN FRONT OF YOU WHEN YOU ARE SHOOTIN ZOMBIES!!! This is the one problem I am havin tryin to get this cheev. I cant do co op online either as I am not online. I dont hav the net anymore. Any help will be very gratefully recieved.

According to the link, All 4 Dead is attainable even if you kill/incap the survivers.  I spawned as the tank on the 3rd level of 'No Mercy' right after the survivers go up the elevator to the 28th floor.  I knocked Zoey down until she was incapped, hit Louis off the building and then incapped the following two survivers.... No achievement....WTF, I was so stoked when I killed all of them because I knew I had legitimately gotten the achievement...  But it didn't unlock

gutted for ya mate, took me a few attempts to get some as well. knowin you done it and not gettin cheevos is a pain in the toe. i say try it again and ya mite get it. its happened to me before. i had to do nba 2k6 twice before i got my points.

That was the exact same situation I was in, and no achievement for me either. Is it glitched? or do you have to actually kill all 4 of them?
