I'm a kind of gamer which i get the achievements that aquired challenge other than the achievements that you get ridiculously or that is next to impossible(such as F.E.A.R. files mutliplayer achievements because it's hard to see people playing mutliplayer).

So after i tried for Glutton for Punishment... i gave up. In original F.E.A.R. there were only 4 maps but in this game... well twice than F.E.A.R. Also i hate that i have to go all way back when i failed.

So let me say to someone who is trying to get this achievement... just give up. If you decide to give up you feel better. Well unless you are achievement whore.

Yeah, I'm not even gonna bother with those IA - Extreme Achieves right now. Those are super hard. I can't even beat 1 on FEAR let alone all 8 on FEAR Files. That's one offline achievement I'll save for when I have nothing left to get on any other game.

tell me bout it. i got 745G on Fear Files and gave up after that. Shame this game is dead online. The maps are much better. Stianhk and JFish1313 hav done them on extreme that I know of. Jfish actually has the 1000. Nutter.

Awesome. I nailed 5/8 IA maps on extreme in a few days. I only have Subway, Garage and Arena left. All I gotta say is don't get mad.. I think I lost a few brain cells from the F*CK!!!!! x 500 times in elevator.. lol. Just be patient, take your time and do 1 map over and over and over until you memorize where everyone is and what weapon to use for each fight. I will NOT give up! I want my 1000/1000 on Fear Files! I have to get it. Subway isn't that hard as I picked up a few trips and I haven't tried Garage that much yet but the one I am dreading... is Arena.. almost no cover from anyone. You gotta nail guys before they fall down and you gotta have the patterns memorized.

I would've had to complete them all if I said I 1ked it.   Elevator seems so easy when you memorize everything. It's just the very end that kept getting me killed. Each map has their own "hard zone" i say.

I say F.E.A.R has more time consuming achieves but F.E.A.R. Files has the hardest achieve but a list of easier ones.

I heard the Perseus campaign is nails on extreme, especially the Nightcrawler Elites/Commanders etc.  I'll prolly give it a shot tomorrow if I don't get sucked into Mass Effect again, played 5 hours and got next to nothing done

Hows the multiplayer on Files these days anyway?  Still dead as a doorknob like it was at release?  Any set Files multiplayer days or anything? :]

Just save the Lightning gun for the Nightcrawler  Elites. They go down in 3-4 shots. I think there was only 2 parts where you have to face 3-4 at the same time but you can corner yourself in certain spots to take them out 1 by 1. When you fight the Commander, use the Laser Carbine that one of the Nightcrawlers drops during that battle and use it on the Commander. It takes him down on Extreme before the entire ammo is used up. I wouldn't say it's that hard, it's a little tough and you might die alot but it's not Instant Action on Extreme. At least you get lots of medkits and you can save your progress in the campaign.

As AcidGlowx81 said... save a powerful gun such as rocket launcher, laser, lightning gun and APC(3 shot sniper) for powerful enemies.

By the way APC is quite strong. It helped me at the end because i can keep far away from boss and shoot him.

Does that mean the Nightcrawler Commander is classed as a 'heavy armored' character, with the laser doing decent damage on him?  So if that's right, shouldn't the Penetrator work just as well with him?  I'm definaetly going to have to brush up a bit, might actually be able to give it a shot tomorrow instead

Well, even the Nightcrawler Elites are heavies I guess... since they can't be blown away from a grenade shot and can take a few blasts to die.
