However I just did it thinking it would take every bit of 9 innings. But I was like 10 for 11 over the course of 5 innings. Jojhima's arm is awful, plus Felix pitches for them and he seems to revert to his offspeed pitches often, making it really easy to steal.
Thats cheap. Btw idc I like to get the achievments realistically .
Run on the White Sox with anybody. Also you don't always need turbo. It's definently easiest to steal a base on easy, but easier to steal one on Hard than medium. On Hard the computer saves it's turbo for other things instead of throwing your guy out. Also Hard throws about 40% off-speed stuff. They toss a change up or curve ball and that's an SB all the way for a 3-5 star runner.
White Sox stink
Good tips, I will be using them in the near future once I purchase The BIGS.

thank you..cause i had trouble trying to steal 3 bases...even though i had Jeter, Ichiro, A-rod and my rookie who has 5 stars for base running...
To steal a base you have to hold down the (LT) button and click the base you want to steal, i.e. (Y) for 2nd, (X) for 3rd, and (A) for home.
But you have to do it before the pitcher winds up to throw...
And it's a lot easier if your team has turbo and the other team doesn't cause it's very easy for them to throw you out if they do.
That is just what came to mind when I was thinking of ways to do it. It worked perfectly for me. Just because the Mets have four four star runners and up. Is there a faster team in this game? Im not really sure all I know is that it worked.
Great work PhillyFan86, your steps worked great and I got the 5 and 10 Steals!
Now if you could help me get the 10 and 15 Perfect Pitches... I get so close to 10 and my nerves strike...
PhillyFan86 wrote:This worked for me as I was easily able to steal 10 bases within 5 innings. First set it as 9 innings on easy. Select the Mets and be home and play the Mariners. This is due to the fact that Kenji Jojima has only a 3 star arm as oppose to most catchers with four and five. Then put in Endy Chavez for Moises Alou. You should be contact hitting this entire game and even on gap shots stop at first. With Reyes you should be able to steal w/o turbo. Earn turbo when pitching and save it for baserunning. Then you should be able to steal second with Wright, Beltran, Chavez and maybe even Shaun Green by using turbo. Make sure you throw all strikes when pitching so that the Mariners earn very little turbo for Jojima to use. Hope this helps as I have seen this come up on other forums.
to use turbo you press (RT) button (right trigger), but you can only do this if you have green in your turbo meter...it's at the top of your screen either left or right corner depending on if you're the home or away team...you can build up turbo with your pitcher by throwing strikes and striking batters out...you can also gain turbo up to bat if you take balls..
hope this helps...
