Lag in demo... lag in game?

Hello, fellow community, I'm thinking in getting this game for the holiday's, but i remember that on the demo there was a lot of lag.. and i mean a lot, to the point that it wasnt playable, so my question is that, do you need some type of speed to play lag free like 7 megs or people with 1 meg can still play without lag?. thank you. :3

It would come and go for apparently no reason some times. When people stopped floating or stuttering for long periods of time I always got suspicious that they were dropping or being disconnected. It's annoying to start a game with a bunch of people then a few minutes later find yourself playing against a bunch of bots and I have a 3-5 meg connection depending.

It's a great game and amazing fun when everything comes together and easilly worth the, $15-$20 used or $30 new.

I recently went to Frontlines and it's almost as smart as Quake Wars, looks a bit better graphically, havent yet experienced any lag, and most importantly people still play it so you can get into games. I havent had any luck finding many people playing Quake Wars. Maybe it's just the times in which I am free to play.

I loved Quake Wars.

If you can get into Class based gaming you will LOVE it. I never had lag problems unless I got close to someone with a weak ping. When that happens I just stay away from those people and everything runs fine.

If the original creators of the game supported it as they do on the PC, it could have easily become a serious online favorite. The only drawback for me was the Matchmaking system, it's reeeeeeeeaally bad.

If for some reason one day they wake up and decide to take it seriously on the 360 I will be the first in line.
