I can't download a player's replay anymore. Why did Treasure had to take that out? Knowing that this game is impossible for anymore achievements, I realized that I'm too old for this game. This game is for age 13-21.

You can still download Replays. Maybe you just went down too far on the leaderboards? On most of the boards, just the Top 100 can be downloaded.

And for the age-thingy...I'm 25 and got obsessed with this game. It's my favourite game of all time. Best 10 bucks I ever invested in a game. I now have 160/200 and am working on chaining level 4. I never thought I could do that, but it's impressive how much better you get at this game with a little concentration...When I first played this, I thought I could never make it through without using a bazillion continues.

Keep at it...you'll get better.

I only said all this because I downloaded the top Japanese player's replay and dam, his skills are beyond human knowledge. I can't even do that. Narrow risky fast movements, non-stop 100% correct attacking and attack time, aye-yi-yi!!!! No way, man. This is just not for me. Right now, I would rather find games of shooters such as Border Down or Under Defeat. But now I know, Japan will never release them as Xbox Live Arcade games probably because they're illegal to be released outside the US. Under Defeat may be completely impossible to be release since it contains German language that cannot be understood by US gamers. Border Down, chances are, this shooter is probably not US knowledge. That's Japanese knowledge only... :(

Furthermore, attempting that game play style is 100% suicide! I can't get 50 consecutive Max Chains, I can never complete this game without dying, it's too much for me to handle. I need to find another shooter, Ikaruga for all I know is not US knowledge of anything.

I can't. Replay download has been disabled. I can't download anymore of anyone's replay. Furthermore, I can't for the game. Forget it. It's pointless just playing an arcade shooter that is not US knowledge. I'm from the US and I don't have any Japanese arcade shooter knowledge and I don't speak Japanese nor am I Japanese.

So? Just play the game for fun. Who cares if you're not Japanese? That doesn't affect your gameplay. The only reason Japanese players are better at this game is probably because there are a load of shmups in Japan and that is a really popular type of game over there so they've had more experience. Just keep playing. I'm terrible at the game, but it's still fun.
