No, COD WAW has much better graphics, not to mention COD 3 has ridiculous framerate issues. It's almost unplayable after playing COD 4 and WAW.
Disagree. The graphics in COD5 look the same on every map. Look at the ground. It looks like a dustbowl. NOTHING spectacular.
The map airfield is pretty much the same colors with different shades. I might as well use a B&W tv.
Okay, but you must agree about the framerate? It's so choppy. Oh, and characters randomly spawn out of nowhere on the single player campain.
First of all, Treyarch had what? About 8 months to make COD3? I could careless about the "framerate." Overall I find that the game itself has good graphics and such. Do you own the map packs in COD3? They are MUCH better than the original maps. I don't play a video game and say "bad framerate"! I go by how fun the game is. I wouldn't mind playing some ninetendo NES with its graphics/framerate.
What do you mean the "characters respawn out of nowhere"? I find the campaign to be decent, but I prefer COD4's campaign over all COD's. I find it to be the most unique one. COD3's is 2nd best on my list... are you referring to your teammates spawning or enemy?
The framerate issues matter a lot to me in a game, and take away a lot of the enjoyment. Also screen tearing is horrible (none in COD3, just an example of another bad programming issue) I think you are confusing what I mean by framerate - I love oldschool games (my fave console ever is the Mega Drive/Genesis) and I'm pretty sure most game on the NES had a very smooth framerate. That's what I referring to - when COD3 gets really busy it jerks all over the place, even enough to cause a tiny delay on shooting, and sometimes missing your reload presses.
With the spawning, I'm talking about the campaign (I only tried online once, realised that the framerate issue was also in MP and turned off) - enemies and teammates spawn out of no where, whether it's just enemies spawning until you reach a certain point, or teammates spawning to flow with the storyline.
Anyway, who cares - like you say, they didn't have long to produce COD3 and they've done a much better job with WAW.
