Wow, that's a lot of amp for those little speakers.  I've been drooling over the emotiva amps for awhile and think it would really make my rockets sing... They seem like a great bang for the buck.
Nice setup.

Geo, don’t let their physical size fool you, they are 4 ohm speakers rated to 200 watts/channel. They weigh in at 33 lbs each. They are actually the top half of the floor standing LSi 15’s and 25’s. They love power, the more the better. I am actually thinking of adding an XPA-2 to my setup. How do you like your rockets, nice looking speaker, really like the finish on them.

Aren't those fronts and center from the LSi series? I thought the LCi are all in-walls.

So are your posts, you are here simply for reassurance from others. I cannot remember the last time you have actually assisted in a question asked on this forum you would much rather drop prices, talk about your latest purchase, etc.

The target of your post is obviously a home theater eccentric. From what I've read, he stated the business pretty efficiently and humbly.

Now, if your own insecurities cause you to assume that anyone listing prices are seeking covetous responses, that's something you can work on. If you flame everyone that upsets you on xbox live forums, there are several words to describe that personality, none of which are treatable.

Also, anyone with a basic understand of human behavior could see that he listed the discounted prices he had paid for the sole purpose of not appearing too pretentious.

Though if he wanted to sound REALLY classy, he could be 26 years old and join multiple blogs and xbox 360 achievement forums to brag about his gamerscore, a much worthier topic.

Novocain RHM,

There is absolutely no need to bring that back into the discussion, all that will serve is getting the thread locked and possibly deleted. If you wish to take personal issue with what somebody posts here then you would be best served by private messaging that person in a civil manner and keeping it off the public forum (hopefully we have all learned our lesson Wink [;)]).

You could try giving this site a shot. http://www.jscreenfix.com/

It's unfortunate that this is happening to plasmas now, as far as I knew they were exempt from this ailment, but apparently that's not the case. The simple "rub the area with firm pressure" method likely wouldn't work on plasmas because of the immensely thick piece of glass on the screen.

Good luck getting it fixed.

The rockets have been an amazing addition to my setup so far.  However, I can tell they want more power.  Right now they are powered by an HK AVR645, which is a decently powerful receiver, but for movies at reference volume it's a bit strained.
Unfortunately, a dedicated amp is not in my immediate future.  I have a 2 week old kid now, so cranking the system just isn't possible at the moment.
I did finally manage to make a set of DIY accoustic panels though.  They helped clean up the sound a bit.  I should grab some pics and post them up.

I tried Jscreen. Didn't work. But thanks anyway my friend.

You would think A Pioneer Elite 101fd would be exempt from any stuck pixels. They are supposed to be "factory tested" parts....haha...yeah right.

Right in the middle of the screen. Drives me crazy. The dealer told me that he could NOT swap it out for another one.

That's strange.. I do home theatre installs for a living and I've only ever seen one plasma TV get a stuck pixel like that, and it was also a Pioneer Elite display.

Here's a couple: Grills on and grills off.

Since those pics were taken, I've ditched the Samsung DVD player and replaced it with a PS3 Slim. I'll get around to taking new pics...

It's not could of or should of.
It's could've or should've.

Is that like a pea green or brighter?

The room looks good, but I think you need an ottoman or some decoration. The area looks vacant.

It could use a few classy decorative choices but I prefer that 'clean' look to overly cluttered Wink [;)]. Remember the KISS method, Keep It Simple Stupid Big Smile [:D].
