Because they are not true gamers

The 1st  golden axe came out on sega and most of the gamers now days haven't played it was still in diapers when the game came out

and or

is not a technical gamer at all

I love Golden Axe Beast Rider

these gamers are stuck on Halo and Gears of war to much not to see other games like Golden Axe Beast Rider's Full Potential

What Sega used to be and what Sega is now are complete opposites.

Sega used to be competing with Nintendo strongly, making incredibly addicting games with all sorts of genres.

Once Sega became a 3rd party developer, everything they made became sh--ty and all they cared about was making fast cash by pumping assquality games as fast as possible.  I lost all respect for them as a company not long after they went 3rd party.

Basically, consdering that this was made by Sega, I'd have to assume that this is a sh--ty game because Sega makes sh--ty games.  However this game did show some promise so I am probably going to rent it just in case.  But it really is a pity Sega is putting a blemish on such esteemed classics like Sonic and Phantasy Star by pumping them out for cash instead of quality.

Yeah, this is just my two cents on this.  I've never played this game, but I was a fan of Golden Axe (I never played any of the sequels, but I loved Golden axe, I got it on my '6-pak' game that came with my Sega Genesis when I got it as a kid).

Not to offend you or anything, but have you played Beast Rider yet? You have Golden Axe Arcade in you game list, but not Golden Axe Beast Rider. You should pick it up it's a good game and a bit of a challenge to play, makes you want to try harder.

The reason i didn't like the game is they completely went in an opposite direction of the original Golden Axe games.

I only heard about the game when i rented it and expected to be playing as the dwarf,warrior or warrior woman(can't remember their names off the top of my head)and i was highly disappointed when the only character i had was the woman.Riding the beasts were pretty cool but i got pretty bored of the game real quick.

This game doesn't have the replay value as the original game did,thus being a very crappy game.I don't know maybe it's just me but if they were going to make a Golden Axe game,atleast remake the original...now that would very good.

Real gamers don't like it because it's nothing like the first one.Not saying that it has to be exactly like the first one,but I truly was expecting to be able to play as the little guy and the barbarian dude.The makers of this game took a que from Tekken Volleyball or whatever that crappy game was to create this fecal matter.Phony gamers like it because they like anything like Mikey from Life cereal commercials.Anything put in front of you is good.The people who like this game are the same people who glitch and quit on Gears 1& 2.

there is no way to not show a game you play, it loads into your xbox when you play it and the next time you hook up to live it automatically updates your game list you cannot stop it. so if a game is not on your list you havent played it, unless you have two gamertags then it wouldnt show up on it

The game itself sucks but if there is more TnA I'll play it.

Multiple gamer profiles or played before he connected to 360? I've played through Fable 2, Two Worlds and Oblivion on my 360. Other members of my family have played through Viva Pinata, Tomb Raider, Crackdown etc. However on the games I played list on Live it only shows the games I played on that particular profile which I created specifically for Live.

Only one playable character? It's obviously not a 2 player game is it? That is so disappointing.

Naw man i'm pretty sure it's only single player.And yes it was ver dissapointing.I would stay away from this game.

If they would have just remade the classic Golden Axe and gave it a fancy storyline that game would have been great man.

hmm.. I'm not sure what to say to this 'real gamer' bit, as I owned Golden Axe back in the day on the Sega Genesis and I also own Beast Rider now for the 360.  I enjoy them both, one as a decent co-op side scroller and the other as a single player hack n' slash.

Would Co-Op have been more popular and more fun in Beast Rider?  Yeah, it would have.. But I'm not dismissing it as a title or refusing to play it because it's not featured here.  I'm also givin' it a bit of a pass since it's featuring my favorite character out of the original trio and she's bein' voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.  Those who are into Silent Hill should know that name.

Golden Axe: Beast Rider = Fail
Reasons for failing:
1. No co-op.
2. Very small areas to go through.
3. It was difficult to have any fun playing it, since it was a bit difficult.
4. The story was too short, and the beasts died way too fast.
5. Constant use of the axe throwing ability and having to put enemies on annoying spikes.
6. The game rating, this used to be a game everyone could play.
7. Storyline wasn't too good not saying the original's storyline was much better.
8. Insane tribute prices for weapons.
9. Refer to all of the above, and you get a pretty big fail.

The graphics were really good though.

When i was younger i played the original game all the time.I can't remember how many times i played through it but i know it was a lot.

lol...about a week ago i played the original once more all the way through on my computer.It brought back memories man.
