Flatout: Ultimate Carnage-Huge disapointment.
I was so hyped to get a flatout title for the 360! I didn't even know there was one. I went and bought it used for 17 bucks. When I was fantasizing about owning the entire game, I realized it's the same as Flatout 2!!! W-TF?  Same levels, same cars, same derby's. Everything. The only difference was the graphics and xbox live. I got to the 3rd cup in derby and just shut it off. Anyone else have this affect on you? Everyone says it's such a great game which it is, but I've already beat it a year ago on the PS2.

I never played Flat out 2 so I didn't know about the similarities, I really like Ultimate Carnage, sorry you were so dissapointed in it, but at least you didn't pay full price for it, and you can still play over Xbox Live, which is a lot of fun!
I'm a BurnoutAholic and proud of it!

This game sucks eggs! I can't believe I've defended it before like some fanboy-9itch! They took out the splitscreen and good music. Plus the physics are messed up. I can push the joystick to the right and not have the car start turning until it's almost off the course, by then it's too late. I've even started trying to turn waay before the corner and the car keeps going in the same direction. My controller works fine by the way. The physics are fckd up, a cardboard box should not make the car flip over and lose the entire race. Also, none of the bad physics affect the opponent vehicles. Making the game unfair, which is absolutely ridiculous. Even at 17 bucks your money was wasted (personal opinion).

I played the demo and found it used for $9.99 last week. I missed out on Flatout 2 on PS2 since my PS2 (for the 4th time) died just out of warranty. Fun game IMO, turning isn't messed up, but most of the cars seem to push through corners, powersliding seems to use a setup like the one in Radge Racer, meaning you either slide or you don't. It takes a while to get used to but it's hardly what I'd call broken.

i loved it on the PC and just picked it up brand-new for $10. Yeah....it's about the same as Flatout2 on the PC, but it's still fun. Especially now that my friend that always played online on the PC now plays it w/ me on the 360.

I like it. I bought it used for 17 bucks too. the only other flatout I played was the first one, so that might be why I enjoy it more than the rest of you that have played part 2

I've loved all of the Flatout games. So while I was mightily disappointed at first at the re-used tracks, I actually didn't take too long to get over it. I'd have been a lot happier if they hadn't recycled the content, but I'm certainly not unhappy with the game.

Everybody has their own opinion about games.  But to buy a game because of it's in a series, so to speak, I don't get it.  Luckily for me, I DL the demos on most all games or rent them.  Having said that, I really like FL:UC.  It's like 3 games in one.

It's a very challenging game. I have it on PC and I found that the achievements do count towards my xbox360 account :)
