How do I see what "awards" I've won, or what I need to do to get more, and is it like COD where I get more weapons, etc based on XP and things like that?  Thanks

it tells you how many games you`ve won leading upto a achievment, so if you win 5 games it will say 5/12 cos thers 12 maps.

each game forces you to start as 0 Exp except campaign where exp carries over to each map, the overall EXP simple earns you ranks which in turn make the AI more co-operative with you.
In each match or campaign you can earn three EXP levels each gives you better abilities such as faster movement more armour and ammo and for some classes better sidearms more grenades better healing abilities and quicker construction and reloads of artillary
