This game makes no sense...
So the requirement in this chinese level I'm playing was 3 dolls. I found a geisha easily enough, but then I was stumped. I randomly clicked a golden egg and apparently a golden egg is a doll? What? The third "doll" was a grey lump of rock, by the way.

In San Fran, there's a requirement for 3 Caps...meaning a hat and two hubcaps. I guess that's not grammatically incorrect, but pretty mean. Stick out tongue [:P]

The surfboard in Fisherman's Wharf looks like the wall... Nobody can tell me that they actually saw that as a surfboard!

The corncobs in one level are actually behind other objects. You have to know that they're there to find them. Tongue Tied [:S] (They're in the basket with the chinese takeout boxes. The brownish stuff you can see hints of behind the boxes are the corncobs.)

I guess this thread can act as the hint thread for nonsensical or hard-to-see objects... Post strange ones you've found! Big Smile [:D]

Haha, I'm still in China (I think?) and now the requirement is 3 Fans... Except they meant asian fans and there's a regular old, plastic fan in the same image. But that, apparently, is not a fan.

This game is pretty poor as far as treasure-hunting games go... Sad [:(]

Now it's getting really annoying! I got to some sports level and one of the requirements is "Club."

The image has two golf clubs, one hockey club and one lacrosse club...neither of which is correct. The correct club in this case? A poker card! The same level also has "Shoes" in the list, and there's at least three visible pairs of shoes but only one is the correct one.

Dear devs; you can't punish us for being wrong and at the same time make the objectives ambiguous. Game design doesn't work like that.

Haven't seen any of these weird objectives yet, but I'm sure I will soon enough. On a side note: I completed one of the San francisco levels in 18 seconds and didn't get the achievement for finishing a city location in under 30 seconds. Anyone else find this achievement glitched or am I missing something? Surely this doesn't mean that you have to finish all 3 locations in a city in less than 30 seconds total does it? Makes sense to search one place like Lombard Street in under 30" which is what I did, but I didn't get the achievement so either I'm reading the description wrong or it's glitched. Anyone have this one yet?

I talk about that in my other thread and I've experienced the same.

It has to be three levels in 30 seconds (as each city is 3 levels, duh), but I don't see how that's possible even with the levels fully memorized... I think we're missing something.

But the achievement is written as 'Complete a City Location in less than 30 seconds'. If it had meant all three locations surely it would have called it 'Complete a Mission in less than 30 seconds'. Which is almost impossible with the ridiculous speed of the pointer.

Also in San Fran it asks for 2 birds and there are three on the picture . The central pigeon doesn't count and there is a hawk? outline in one of the windows of the tram which it took me a while to make out.

I remember a time when Jedi were not generals, but peacekeepers.

You're right; good point. I guess the achievement is just glitched as I unlocked it in a completely random way (see my other thread for info).

What I think may have happened is that I've beaten a level in SF in under 30 secs, but this bonus puzzle counts as a level so it doesn't understand that I've cleared the SF mission until I beat the bonus puzzle. And it can't hand out the 30 secs if it doesn't understand that I've cleared the mission. Something like that, maybe?

It'd be great if someone could make sure they clock 30 secs on level 1, then beat bonus puzzle 1 to confirm.

Yeah, I had that problem too. I was going "so I guess these aren't birds, huh?" for a few minutes there. Big Smile [:D]

Are you playing in HD or SD?  If you're not playing it in HD, it can be hard to see the little things that make them make sense.

Re: This game makes no sense...
In the Egyptian level I had to find two Ankhs.  There are three written on the wall, but only two count.  Yeesh.  I still like the game, though.  (Hidden Object games are apparently all the rage at online gaming sites, but this is my first time playing one.)

I also got the 30-second achievement at a completely arbitrary time, while playing 4-player co-op.  Maybe it will just pop a little while after you've done a location in 30 seconds?  I have no idea.

Re: This game makes no sense...
I'm on the final stage (I think) in an Egyptian room, the game wants us to find 8 crowns. I found 7 very fast, been sat for 15 mins in 2 player co-op with neither of us able to spot the 8th and nothing on the screen looks like a crown.
Even got a minute or two penalty by spam clicking the screen to try to find it. Anyone got pics to show where they are? ;)

Re: This game makes no sense...
I believe the 30 second achievement is just complete a location in under 30 seconds as it was one of my first unlocks in the first city from the trial.

Yeah. Maybe it adds a hook for "completed achievement," but the Wham, bam achievement doesn't actually check for achievements. If that made sense. It only notices that you should have it the next time it checks for an achievement, maybe?

No, that's not it... Pretty sure I got that mission 6 one inbetween.

I actually got the 30 second achievement in the demo.  If you play the same location a few times in a row, it becomes really easy.

Personally I like all the plays on words.  Also a hockey stick is not called a hockey club by the way.  It makes you look harder and gives you a kick when you eventually work out what it is.  I love this game.

There's one early on in the game where you have to find 3 keys. However, you had to find one set of keys and then the other two were on the piano/keyboard! Get it? Duh. :P

I spent so long trying to find the ball in China in the temple level :(

I looked forever and still couldn't see anything!!

I like this game though it's different.
