Okay, I may be a bit old fashion, but I'm not really sure about just what the reviewers were ranting about. Okay, this is no 10/10 game, but it's a fun and average title.

Why must every darn game anymore have such high expectations? I thought Fracture pretty much lived up to its promise - an average game with a fun gimmick, yet it felt like reviewers were expecting something that'd change the world. I just don't get it.

I've played my fair share of crap games. I've played games that were seriously a technicaly mess. But this isn't one of those. It's a technically sound game, but it's just average, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Well I didn't play it yet, but people are like that, reviewers always expect too much and when they don't get it, they start whining about it. I just played the demo for now and I liked it, for a while I was thinking about buying fallout 3 however I rather wait for now, some people might think I'm crazy :O though yeah I am it's better that way anyways.

I wouldn't say everyone is like that. I completely respect your take on the game. I personally did not like the game. I never could make it to the end without growing tired of it. I did get stuck on one section but even leading into it I was getting bored.

I'm just not that impressed. But that is just my take. That's what is so great about gaming...we can all have our own likes and dislikes.

Well what I meant his reviewers are like that, they don't know people have different taste, *** for people to hate punisher movie or game cause it's gory, they are dumb cause it has to have gore. For video games, some will say don't buy it nor even rent it, if the guy has a different taste then he should try it on, but they are like almost telling them not to try it and try to impose their views on others.

And yup everyone likes different stuff.

I agree with the OP. Average game with it's own gimmick (raise/lower terrain). Got it for $19.99 new at BestBuy so I'm completely satisfied. I got what I expected at a good price.

I played the demo and thought the terrain gimmick was really fun I'll probably just rent it tough.

I own the game, still haven't beaten the story.  I really
hate to say this but...Fracture is one of those games that you
think looks awesome, but when you start playing it...you're like "Where's my awesomeness? D:"
Online is fun, but there aren't many people on...over all I'd give it a 6 1/2 - 10.  :/

Well i just finished Act 1 last night and i have to say, as crazy as it might sound, i've having more fun playing Fracture than i did playing Gears of War 2.

Which basically proves that everyone has there own opintions of games.

The cover system for this game is basically, raise the ground in front of you to create a wall....It's just genius!!!

This game also proves that you should'nt trust games reviewers.

Well I just got this game used for like $17. I knew that it being so cheap, even for being used, there had to be some reason for the low price. I just wanted to see for myself since I was not going to be out of that much money. I just started playing it and even though I haven't gotten that far into it, it seems to be ok. I like the graphics as well as the abilities and weapons. I will probably end up finishing it sooner or later and I think I will enjoy playing it.

I got this game for xmas and am now just starting to play it. I do somewhat enjoy the game, its not the greatest but you can have fun in it. I personnally think it got the lower rating because of the terrain part of the game {lower/raise}. I dont think it works as well as the devs wanted, heck I rarely use it only when im bacically forced to. But for some cheap thrills in a 3rd person game it could be worse.

i would give fracture 6/10. it is a good game but they could have made so much more out of it.

Yea i agree, this has held my attention longer than Halo 3 did!! Picked this up cheap on ebay and i'm on 1st act (Stormin Golden Gate Bridge) on Hardcore..pretty top game, Halo 3 IS better online tho!! : )

It's really not a bad game, it just had some hype behind it that didn't hold its ground.  I played this on PS3 when my 360 was out for repair and I really wanted to get some 3rd person action, when there was really nothing else available.

I got this game back a few months ago, played it and then shelved it.  Don't remember why...probably another game got my attention.  I really need to get back into it again.  I liked it though.
