how do you get hal's armor or the chicken suit

Chicken suit is availible through fable2.com, play the mini games. Hals Armor and Weapons are only availible to owners of the Limited Edition copy of Fable 2 and can not be traded.

  I have seen pieces of the chicken suit for sale througout albion, but i also did the mini games so that might be what unlocked it, not sure

You can not trade the Halo Armor. I have extra chicken suits if anyone needs. Also have MOST items needede for the mystery shop on the island.

i think you can buy the chicken suit in oakfield after the main story is completed

You can buy Chicken suit in Oakfield and Bloodstone if you have already got it from the chest in the Chamber of Fate.

Okay I just found a working link, click it and it'll take you straight to the puppet show.  Remember to get all three prizes (they're all worth it) play the game three times, each time choosing a different crown all the other choices really don't matter just the final one to determin your prize. 

Middle crown: Chicken Suit.
Left crown: Lionhead Tattoo and Hero Doll
Right crown: Nasty expression booklet (contains feign attack) and pink dye.
