Love the game, but it still freezes like crazy.......anyone elses still freeze?

Mine hasnt in a while. Then again, I havent played in a while. :P

Did u already have the game before the patch ? I think you need to delete any game data and then start from scratch for the patch to work properly. Good luck.

I bought the game when it 1st came out and then traded it in @ BlockBuster Video but just recently got it back and when I put the game into my console I noticed that it said update available which I'm guessing is the patch everyone's talkin' about well ever since I downloaded that patch its been freezing.

I have had the game since day one and have only had maybe 1-2 freezes since the patch. I play everyday and it is not an issue for me.

I had done some testing of my own, I found that the update has caused my freezing aswell. I put my game into a friends 360 who has not connected his to the internet and it worked fine, I went back home and mine froze up a few times I went and rented a copy same thing, then I deleted all I had on my hard drive of the game then played it without updates and it plays just fine 3 days of no freezing then I updated the game and after 3 hours of play it was freezing up I deleted all items in my memory of the game and no update and it runs just fine for the last 2 days... it has to be the update.

 and out of all 42 games I have deadliest catch is the only game that freezes up in game play with an update

I just got this game 2 weeks ago. I patched it right off that bat before even playing it. SO now in season 6 I had 1 freeze up.  season 7 I had to quit early because it was freeze right before the end. Today it froze at the end while counting down to sell...   Now I am on season out cant get out of port do to freezing really FAST now.I think it has to do with the weather engine? when I have blue skys all over its sooo fast and smooth. Soon and the waves start choppen the screen gets laggy and I have to sit in my boat house or it will freeze with in few secs.

 I like this game alot so I think I'm going to delete the data and then do the patch after season 10 I hear the weather dies down. Plus I need the Online achivement.
