I've heard the game is wall-head-bangingly difficult, but I saw some video of it on yt and it looked pretty sweet.  So, just how hard is this game, say, in comparison to the God of War games?  And if you could specify a GoW difficulty setting to Ninja Gaiden on normal, that would be cool?  I definitely don't want to get a game that I can't even finish once.

Also, how does it run on 360?  Better to load onto HD or not?

Very much more difficult than God of war normal mode. NGB features ninja dog difficulty and will help you.

I never had trouble beating god of war but Ninja Gaiden is 10x harder on normal.

About it running on 360, it plays fine but the fmvs can studder a bit but it still plays well everything.

It's harder than GoW 1/2. In this game even a simple minion can beat you to a pulp if you don't watch it. But thats about normal. If you looking for some good challange, pick it up. It runs pretty well on 360.

A simple hack and slash NGB is not, a lot of the games difficulty is focused on knowing how to play, when to block, attack and knowing your enemy. Some of the boss fights, especially Alma, Doku and the last boss can be compared  to as being as difficult as an entire COD4 vet run. Thats on normal.

I didnt have to many problems. I remeber spending a week working on the last boss, I would go at him probably about 10-30 times then take a break.

That being said, it is probably one of the most rewarding games I have played due to the challenge.
