I purchased the xbox for myself, mainly to play Halo 3 with some friends. However I have two kids who want to play the xbox as well. I am not a big fan of letting children play games but I figured if I found a game they could play and were monitored it would be ok. My son does play a few games online (again monitored) and one of those games is Frogger. Do you think this game for the xbox would be ok for him to play? He has never played any video game console before, but learns quickly (he will be 7 in Jan).

If you don't mind all the violence, blood, guts and gore I'd recommend Frogger 2.

Honest at least she cares for her kids. At 7 I would ease up a bit myself on titles that are rated E (watch in the background to see if they earn my trust). But it is not for us to judge at all, much better than parents that let their kids run wild and let their 6 year old play GTA. But the answer to your question is Frogger is made for all ages. I don't have the game but it is Frogger. As for online play that is different. I assume you are talking about playing online with others. As you know anytime you play in a public game you are literally at the mercy of total strangers. I suggest gaming yourself, building a friendslist of people you trust and letting them play online with friends. Come Fall Xbox will have a party chat mode to help you in this as well. If you are looking for cheap mulitplayer family oriented 360 titles check out Hail to the Chimp and Viva Pinata 2 coming in September.

froggers not very scary i believe its aimed at younger children but its for anyone really
