I'd buy this for up to 15-20 bucks.

SC2 was always my favorite and the one I was best at.
People can say the first ones better but its not true.. The first one if the exact same as the 2nd one except its missing moves, stances, and characters.
This is not the games fault as it was brought out first but... When it comes down to it I wish I could play SC2 again because I knew all the moves. I thought SC2 was easily the best SC and I started SC in the arcades.
SC2 with online MP would be even better than SC4 in my opinion. I liked SC4 but I didn't like how they switched up everything. They take out most of Ivy's old whip stances, they made the system feel stiffer, they made older characters less effective and inserted cheap new characters (Tira). I'm not saying SC4 sucks I just wish I could play SC2 online instead. If they brought out SC2 with online play I'd be amazed.

It'd probably be the only fighter I'd play online (unless Marvel Vs Capcom 2 came out) it was my favorite SC and I thought it had the best moves, stances and characters. Why not bring it to the arcade with online MP? I don't really care for SC4 I'm not gonna buy a game for 60 bucks if all there gonna do is switch everything around and make characters who use to be amazing suck. I want the same as SC2 maybe with more stuff added.. While I do admit SC2 wasn't that great Single Player it was the VS that counted. SC2 had the best head to head vs in any fighting game and that is my opinion.

Bring it out Namco you brought this one out and it was kind of a letdown (no single player really, no online MP, no unlockables) why not try again with the better one in the series but this time do it right?

I agree. Getting SC2 (or even SC3, because 1 and 4 were letdowns imo) in it's original form with added online play would be absolutely amazing. I'd buy it straight up. SC2 and 3 were the best in the series, well that's what I think anyway. I'm sure that this would make a decent amount of money but I highly doubt Namco would ever do this. It's a shame really.

And its my opinion that SC3 is when they started *** the SC franchise by introducing Tira who's a huge pain in the @$$!

Also SC3 switched all the moves and stances around just like SC4 did and don't tell me they didn't because I've played it. No Soulcalibur will ever play as well as SC2 and thats my opinion.

Yeah Tira is very annoying. She's not good to play as but if you verse her she's annoying as hel1.

Ivy's a good example.

She doesn't have her various whip stances in SC3 or SC4 (such as swinging the whip in her hand, coiling the whip around her shoulder for long range attacks, her stomp sucks... (the stomp in SC2 was actually pretty cool... Now she just stomps she use to smear her foot on you, Ivy's just not as flexible as she was in SC2.... Maybe its cause she's getting older I dunno). Maybe you can do these moves and stances but not the way they were done in SC2 because I coudn't find them in SC3/4.

Its not just Ivy a lot of characters in SC3/4 are missing some of there stances and moves.
Yoshimtsu had tons of hidden moves in SC2 a lot of them were from Tekken.

I would love Namco Bandai forever (even though I already love them a ton.  They make awesomesauce games) if they brought SC2 to XBLA.  And with online multiplayer?  You can't get much better than that!

I realize I'm not focused on the topic, but SC III is definitely not a bad game and no one should hate on it... Some of its frame data was wacky, yeah, but otherwise there's really no fault to it aside from not having online play. SC III's gameplay and animations were way more fluid contrasted with SC II's and its successor, and while that might seem like a pedantic criticism, when it comes to 3D fighters it's really not (unless we're talking about Tekken, as yeah that will always remain really stiff, but it works for said franchise so it's cool). The AI was possibly the greatest of any fighting game I've ever played, and that's saying a lot (yes it can be exploited, but if you're not doing so, you definitely have to be able to play the game in order to get through a quick play on extremely hard). Regarding storyline and characterization, great things were done with Siegfried's character, and Tira and Zasalamel were really worthy entries to the franchise. Namco altered the inputs of some moves, and some were missing, but that doesn't mean most players didn't have a lot of options regarding moves, and that the game's depth was sacrificed all that much (if at all... we did still have just frame moves). Anyone who hates on SC III is an idiot who definitely overlooked its greatness

Would this include weapon master mode? 'Cause, omg, I fell in love with weapon master. Defiantly my favorite extra in a fighting game.

Yeah I agree with you but I do like Zasalamel Better in 4 than 3. But yeah SC2 Was amazing hopefully people start bringing these games back
