Me and My Cousin are looking to find a shooter we can play online besides GoW or CoD. He was looking into this one and i was wondering if anyone plays online with it ?

I have this game but can never find anyone to play it with.  I have the same issue with Unreal Tournament III (although I admit there are more people playing UTIII than ET:QW).  Their player bases just aren't that big.

Also, if you're looking for a cheap (and very fun!) shooter then I would recommend checking out Shadowrun.

I agree... Shadowrun is an incredible FPS with a lot of depth.  It just sucks that the developers bailed and there will never be any DLC.

May I suggest Frontlines?

I left Quake Wars for Frontlines sometime ago. Quake Wars is smarter and more involved but there are more people playing Frontlines, a really strong core community of some great people and it's also $10-15.

I've never had trouble finding a 32 or 50 player server to jump into. I play with a couple of friends every Monday.

Im also looking for people to play! I played when the game first came out, I have no idea why I stopped playing I love this game, but im back on now! Send me a friend request or inv, or if im playing just join my game in progress and say wassup! I dont mind playing with bots, but I believe you need at least 2 people for stats and achievements!

I grew a little bored of this but I'll be back on it once finished w/ Infinite Undiscovery.

After playing Section 8 I have to say the following:

 

Section 8 > Quake Wars

 

It's just that the AI is so much better in that game in my opinion, plus it's not as laggy.
