Top 3 tables based on a game? (Your choice)
Hi guys, I was wondering...
Based on any Xbox 360 or Live Arcade games, what would be your top 3 choices?
A have a lot of game titles in mind but personally, my best 3 dream tables would be:

- Halo or Halo Wars table
- Fable, Fable II (& Pub game) table
- Ninja Gaiden table

Those 3 games already possess great and strong visual assets to create gorgeous looking tables; of course special FX would greatly reinforce the whole concept. In addition, add good game modes, missions and proper achievements (so sad they didn’t add any in the Street Fighter table) and I think these would make excellent pinball tables.

So, what would be your dream tables and why?

I could go for an Elder Scrolls: Oblivion table.
It could have missions where you defeat some monsters by hitting the Blade orbit and Fireball ramp then grab a sigil stone at the top of another ramp to close an oblivion gate.  The sigil stone gives you some gameplay benefit such as an extra ball or lighted kickbacks.  Different monsters require different tactics to defeat.
In order to increase the table multiplier, you have to grind it out the same way you'd increase your attributes in Oblivion... hit the Blade orbit (with spinner) over and over and over.
Hit targets to spell L-O-C-K-P-I-C-K to reveal the secret entrance to the Thieves Guild.  Lock 3 balls in there to initiate Grey Fox multiball.
Trap a soul (kill a monster and hit the sigil stone/soul gem within x seconds) to initiate Enchantment Quick-Multiball.
For an extra 100 MS points, a new trap door will appear in the middle of the table where none existed before.  Shoot the ball into it and it will take you to a new sub-table called Shivering Isles.

Everything's coming up Milhouse!

Yea I think there is great potential here and I would do something like themed packs.

First I would get some sort of shooter theme pack or a series of downloads, if it takes a while to get all three tables constructed.

Halo theme
Gears of War theme
Call of Duty theme

Next I would do some sort of RPG themed pack or series of downloads.

Oblivion theme
Fallout 3 theme
Mass Effect theme

You could even do a racing one with:

PGR theme
Burnout theme
GRID or Forza theme

Yea those would be awesome but I highly doubt they would happen due to licensing and being new tables and all.

Excellent ideas there, Brassman. If I didn't know any better, I'd be wondering if you worked for Zen Studios!Stick out tongue [:P]
Seriously, though, apart from the last one (not sure whether it could be done without making it over-complicated), the other ideas would work brilliantly!

Anyway, I would like an Oblivion table as well, to Brassman's specs, pretty much, as well as a Mass Effect one, that one would be pretty to look at. You could have a variety of different missions as well, such as searching for minerals, rescuing Liara or just general planet exploration, eventually culminating in a battle with Saren and Sovereign at the end.

The final one for me would have to be a Banjo Kazooie one, that game would be a perfect choice imo, with the final mission being, of course to beat the witch. In between, you'd collect honeycomb pieces and notes, learn new moves (that would activate ramps) and be able to work towards a jiggy total, which then triggers the battle with the witch. You then have to spell "Jinjo" to beat her (or "Jinjonator" depending how complicated you wanted it.)

I'll try and think of some more specific ideas when I'm not quite so tired lol.Smile [:)]

I agree. There could be many potential licensing problems, with your, my and everyone else's ideas but you never know, it comes down to whether or not developers can come to an agreement about it.

Still, it's fun to dream anyway, huh?Smile [:)]

Anything off the LucasArts catalogue i.e. at the moment Sam&Max. Tables of Day of the Tentacle and/or Grim Fandango would make my day/month/year/decade...
