So im thinking of getting this game (To keep me going till Alone in the Dark) and was wondering how hard are the levels compared too marble ultra blast....

this game is about 10 times harder than marble blast ultra.

 

i had 200/200 in marble blast in about a 2-3 day span.

 

this game on the other hand i doubt i will ever get 200/200.  some of the time restrictions for gold times are insane

it is somewhat fun......multiplatyer co-op is great.  but as far as difficulty i would say it is a 9 out of 10.

It is fun and challenging.  It starts getting harder at level 4.  I am on level 4-6.   I recommend that people  get this game, it is a lot of fun.

You will definitely get your $10 worth of enjoyment from it. 

If you get it and want to play multi-player coop hit me up.  I still need the achievements.

I have been interested in this game for a while.  Upon your recommendations, I think I will finally break down and get it.

It's a good and very challenging game. I'm up to the last world now. That cloud levels were insane lol but fun.

Well it's very challenging if you are going for medals. I have been playing now and spent well over 30 hours basically replaying levels over and over until I got gold. It's really hard figuring out decent paths for gold.

I think Marble Blast (especially Natural Selection!  can't finish that one!!) is much more challenging.  Switchball feels more doable and gives you many more options in the later levels.  I also think it feels more fun to play.  But multiplayer seems completely dead.

Not really, marble blast is easy I thought. The online is fun and I normally find matches. It took 2-3 days of a few hours a day to complete marble blast. It's took much longer to get switchball done. I'm not even there yet and i've clocked over 50 hours. Maybe going for gold doesn't help much though. Lot's of restarting etc.

without a doubt marble blast is an easier game.

it took like 3 days to 200/200 marble blast and i gave up on getting 200 in this game since there is 6 levels that are insanely hard to get a gold time on.

even the hardest level on marble blact only takes a half hour or so to do under par time.  and the online multiplayer is always throbbing with that game also.  marble blast is clearly the more fun, easier and populated game. 

this game is fun for a while, but the requirements for gold times will soon turn you against it.
