Thought I would post my experience.  If this post doesn't work right or has the previous persons post quoted or something, Im sorry, this is my first time posting.

I was dumb and deleted my preloaded hexic hd game to make room for another game.  I decided I wanted it back and saw this post.  I called Xbox support on Sunday morning at 9:00.  I explained that it came preloaded on the xbox 360 / hard drive and that I accidentally deleted it.  I also made sure to say that it is not available in the marketplace to re-download and that there is only a hexic theme available.  I told him that I went online for a solution and the solution I found was to call support to get a redeem code to redownload it.  He seemed like he knew what I was talking about and transfered me to a "solution specialists" or whatever they called him.  He took down my information and said I would get a callback within 48 hours.  The call lasted 18 minutes. 

Well it wasn't quite 48 hours, but surprisingly a manager / supervisor called me back on Wednesday at 2:15pm and asked me a couple questions and quickly gave me a redeem code for hexic hd.  The call lasted like 5 minutes. 

Well I should of read / verified the code with her because I missed a number as I was trying to understand her.  I had to call back Wednesday night around 7:30 after failing to successfully enter the code when I came home from work.  I gave the guy the reference # from the supervisor / redeem code call from earlier.  He pulled up the records and instructed me to hit the middle button on the 360 controller and go all the way to the left and choose "redeem code".  I already tried this which told me I was missing a character.  He tried to tell me to enter it in, but I told him that I only had 4 characters on the last set of 5.  He read the code to me and I missed a 3 in the code.  Added the 3 and it brought up the screen to download full version of hexic hd.  The call lasted 13 minutes.  Now thankfully hexic hd is in my "purchase history" in "account management" to re-download in case my dumbass deletes it again or my friend does.

Decided to give this a shot as I was starting to miss not playing on the game and the process was extremely easy for me. Granted I was rather lucky as I got an English guy who knew exactly what the situation was. It took just over 15 minutes and he said I had to call him back in 48-72 hours for my code, which I'm looking forward to. I've read a lot about bad service at Microsoft but this guy made it unbelievably easy.

I just called and got the, "We'll call you in 3-5  business days." If I don't hear I will call back. I'm getting back my game :)

I got a call back and code! Can't wait to get home to give it a try!

Well, I made the call just now and was told that I'd get a call back in 72 hours... so I'll wait and see!

You dont need a code you can download it for free by accessing the following On your dashboard go threw the following 1.Game Market Place 2.Arcade 3.Browse 4.H Youll find it under Hexic HD

Uh...why do we actually need to do this? It's a free game, right? Why isn't it just downloadable free to begin with? It makes no sense. Their wasting their own time with all this call back code stuff.

Its not a free game for everyone, only those with the original hard drive, arcade versions dont get it unless they buy it.

YES! After a 29 minute phone call, I was given my code and instructed on how to redeem it, I am currently playing the game on my Xbox! Awesome, I'm glad I was lucky lol =P Didn't have to wait for them to call me back, I got it almost immediately!

Unfortunately there's no option to download this game from the marketplace, so that the only way to download it is to get the codes from support line.

Just to let you know the outcome - they called me back the day after, but I wasn't around to take the call, so they left a voicemail saying that they would call me back.

I couldn't wait, so I called them back, quoting my reference number. I got the code there and then! Sorted!

I've also heard that changing your Xbox Hard Drive back to the Default settings gets you the game back, since Hexic HD came WITH your Hard Drive. This is just something that I've picked up on a forum, I haven't tested it for myself.

I still don't have this game back either. I deleted it (me and my infinite wisdom), and didn't realize how much of a freakin' PAIN it would be to get it back. I got the code, though (after 5 days of arguing with about 6 different people, none of whom could speak Enlgish very well), and the last guy who gave me the code didn't know where to put it in -_-

Can anyone help me with this? I just want the game back to get the achievements. Not too difficult.

Redeem the codes using your console dashboard.

(Sign in, press guide button, Marketplace, Redeem Codes).

Thanks for your help! I've tried both of them and none seem to work. About the link to the US marketplace, I'm not from there, so the market is closed for me. I can only use my country's marketplace.
The code is correct and there should be no trouble getting the game, but it just doesn't seem to happen. It keeps on telling me that the code is invalid.

"Lucky 13 X" (the M) told here that:
"The process is not designed for that including scenarios that involve the 120 gig hard drive, memory units or Arcade/Elite consoles as these items never came with a copy of Hexic HD."

Well my console is an Elite, and it brought Hexic HD in the 120gb hard drive. Perhaps thats why the code doesn't work, don't know...

Some things may have changed since I posted that. It's possible that Hexic HD comes with new Elite console purchases and on the 120 GB hard drive. Can't say for sure.

What I would like to know though is what region are you in? You may want to check on MajorNelson.com or your country Marketplace at marketplace.xbox.com, and see if there are showing any available items for Hexic HD. If not, the game may not able available for download in your region.

Beyond this, have you already tried contacting support about the issue?

I'm from Portugal. Hexic HD in not available in my country marketplace, not even with the theme thing or whatever, and maybe that's the reason. People from support here say that they checked the code and it was correct as an Hexic HD code, so it should have worked. They don't know what the problem is, so they can't help me. I think that I simply cannot download Hexic. But I'll check on MajorNelson.com.

You can create silver account and set the country to Spain or UK "for example" to redeem your Hexic codes.

After reading these forums I called support. They were very knowledgeable on this problem. The first lady put me though to the right department, where the next gentleman put me though to his superior Em. Em was the bomb! He had my code in about 5 minutes. The code worked first try and I was playing Hexic HD in about 15 minutes. I must say,"I have never had such a pleasant experience with ANY tech support as today." Thanks again Em!
