For months I was trying to avoid this game with all the negative responses to it but when I saw it used for $24.99 I could not pass that deal up.so I have been playing it for only an hour no achievements yet but thats not what I got it for anyways but im really suprised at the lack of the online community in this game cause this is a really solid game sure it's not the best shooter out there but it has all the bells and whistles to keep me entertained.
So I am encouraging anyone who is interested in getting this to go for it cause beneath all the flaws this is a rwally fun game.

ill report back later when I play more but so far I would give it a 7.5

I really like this game as well and agree that it's sad the community never took off.  Same goes with UTIII.  Both games are great, but the communities are lacking.  :(

LoL  My wife and I don't boost.  We just play a lot of games.  If you look, many of our games don't even come close to 1000/1000.   We just play for fun.

this game is unbalanced.  the strogg always win.  attack or defend the strogg always win.

not really, there are some maps where strogg are really not favored.  Area 22, ark, salvage, refinery, canyon, outskirts, island.  The reason why strogg always win is because Quarry and Slipgate are so strogg favored that these 2 maps alone would make it seem that strogg win more.

1. are you sure you are playing the game at 20 minutes not 30 minutes or 10 minutes?
2. Are you sure all human players are stacking to the GDF side?  Because if you are, and you are inexperienced, the all  bots strogg may overwhelm you.

Although refering to the PC version, this szakalot guy points out why the Strogg win more.  Stupid Quarry.  that's why.

I agree that the bots in this game are ridiculous.  LoL

Yeah, especially if it is you and bots, vs all human players, and you are like pulling your hair because the bots are doing stupid things, and ruining your strategies to battle that SYN clan.

Speaking of which, has anybody ever won a match against them?  That is a real challenge right there.  Although I never won, or my team never won, I still got the most damage thing in the end of the match, and I'm already satisfied.  VIOLATORS FTW.  And the fact that when I was with the SYN team on gdf, they were like WTF? when I killed like 5 strogg with one vampire shot, because I know how violators and vampires work.  Remember the perpendicular rule.

Playing campaign is a bit of a chore since the friendly bots appear to be more dumb than the enemy bots...  LOL  Countless times I've been wounded and my medic will run past me and give health to another player.  I've had times where it seems like I'm the only one trying to go after an objective, etc.

Still, it's somewhat fun despite the moronic AI at times.  I haven't played online much, but an all human team against a bot team might be fun.

I have.  It's not impossible.  It's very difficult, but not impossible.  Hazy and Justin should take top priority.

Blooder usually can be found in a tormentor and like all other fliers, is a rocket delay away from death at anytime, Nezzar (?) I haven't played with enough to know, and Corvette is simply another good player amongst the bundle of good players in the game (Not wishing to say that as an insult).

the game didnt take off for a few reasons:
1) it was released just before battlefield bad company and had probably 1/4 the coverage and add that did
2) the demo and real version had problems with online lag due to hosts with poor connection hosting full 16 player matches with bots
