I am a huge fan of the fatal frame games (with #2 being my favorite). I was just curious if a number 4 is in the works, I would love to play it. This game is so scary I cant even play it alone in the dark, lol, and Im 24.

Sorry, but I play the PS3 more..

There is a Fatal Frame 4, but it's Wii only, Nintendo bought the rights to publish it so...and they being idiots because they won't tell anyone if they'll release it to the US, it came out in July in Japan, there's a couple weeks left before the European release, but NO word for the US. It's just plain not fair.

I've recently discovered this franchise and was a little saddened to see that the fourth installment was a Wii exclusive.

So, does this mean that Nintendo owns the rights to the Fatal Frame franchise now or do they just own the publishing rights to Fatal Frame 4? 

Just the publishing rights. Grasshopper and Tecmo are the ones who made FF4.
