Best. Gift. EVER.
TimeShift was one of my first XBOX 360 games. Got it for Christmas, so cheap that it was in my stocking o-O
Anyway, I spent the entire Christmas break playing this one game. I never got bored. As the loading screen says, this game really requires you to think in 4 dimensions. It's not "run in, shoot, hide and heal, repeat", it's "run in, work out where the enemies are coming from, reverse time, slow things down for good aim, take em out while they're in mid-jump, use your remaining time powers to stop time and find a good hiding spot, let your enemies stand there confused while you think of an even cooler strategy for the next go". The possibilities! I'll play this over Halo any day.

It's a pity I got this game a little too late for decent online play. The TimeShifting capabilities available to you would have made for some hilarious game sessions I reckon! Good game, but probably missed by the majority.

Re: Best. Gift. EVER.
This game is definitely underrated.  The multiplayer alone is worth the $10-15 that this game goes for nowadays and the singleplayer is interesting in the ways you use the time powers.  Heh, I remember playing the demo for the "other" version of Timeshift.  Knew back then the game was going to be great, but it wasn't until I finally got my hands on the "real" Timeshift that my intuition was proven correct.

I agree, this game is under rated. I recently just started playing it agian and I'm having a blast....literally with the shotgun and stopped time. Funny how the small things amuse me lol!

I definitely enjoyed the game but never got the pleasure of playing it online, but still worth the money I spent for it.

Actually I didn't like Timeshift at first either, but once I started playing it for awhile something clicked inside and then it really got good.

honestly i dont know, lmao i should have. Like i think the giant problem i had with this game was the story just was horrid, and as i continued playing there was no progression in the story either. I remember the old game that they were making and it seemed like it had alot of promise but this one kinda seemed like a cash in on all other fps's on the market im not saying the game was bad it's just average at first i had blast in the beginning but as i gor further i just couldent stand it

i'll agree that the story was a bit strange, i still don't understand it lol

Once you get through the game it all makes sense, although I think the ending could've been tougher imho!

Re: Best. Gift. EVER.
Well, I picked this game up for a fiver yesterday & after a quick go last night I am impressed. It is far better than I expected it to be, which with a lot of games lately tends to be the opposite feeling.

This forum is quite dead & I believe the MP is too? Shame really as it sound slike it could be fun & different enough to make it investing some time into it
