You nailed it. There are a select few that can handle losing and stick the game out until the end. Besides, how boring would the game be if you had to quit 10 times in a row so you could get that perfect setup. I've won games with 3's, 4's and 11's and lost games with 6's, 8's and 9's. Even some of the players in the top ten rankings are perpetual quitters. You guys know who you are.

Was that the record that he was showing in the lobby or was that his record on the official leaderboard? The lobby records reset after 256 so his record may have been 94 and 258 which is respectable. But you also said that he quit at the last second which makes him a giant douche.

This is an issue if they are sitting in the lobby with 2 other players and you would have been the fourth player but instead you cannot join.
