completed lvl 1 about 5 times now, no achieve, wtf?

You mean the "Alpha Launch" achievement? Never heard of any problems with that. Did you finish the game after beating the level or did you simply quit?

i died somewhere in lvl 2
i am gonna try to reload game to see if that fixes it.
