What with Banjo already out and its sequel in the pipeline, what chance of Perfect Dark 64 being released to the Arcade? Rare definately own the licence as shown with the God awful PDZ, so there'd be no conflict with Nintendo. I for one would love to have the chance to replay this, its one of my favourite game ever and I spent countless hours on it during my childhood.  The multiplayer was timeless and over Live it'd be insane. Any info, views on a possible release?

Seems VERY likely, PD sold a modest amount of copies and it was critically acclaimed at the time. I'd be willing to pay another 1200 points to play PD with 60 frames per second, HD graphics, anti-aliasing, online functionality, and a decent controller.

Might but I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'm not a big fan of PD though one of the few Rare games on the 64 I didn't like. Still would be nice to come to the XBLA anyway. Now if only we could get Goldeneye. Online multiplayer, omg so awesome.

That's another possibility. That was mentioned in the same thread, but they all are just really rumors at the moment. Though, Rare does plan on bringing all three of those, plus some more too I think.

They reffrence it alot in Nuts & Bolts (twice I know of) so it's a pretty safe bet.

They photoshopped that PD image in. They are probably teasing it to people but it clearly hasn't been ported yet.

It's not the same. You need to play it with an N64 controller. Go searching in the slums of the city, come across a N64 game dealer, and buy it from him no matter that the price. That's the only way to get the full OOT experience. (Best game ever, most annoying zombies ever.)

Goldeneye is indeed a great n64 game but perfect dark got it beat. It expanded everything goldeneye offered and made it even better.

For the time goldeneye made console fps gaming fun.

Luckily during E3 there have been trailers for PD for XBLA.  When it comes out is beyond me.....

They BETTER keep the GoldenEye weapons. If they don't... *slides finger across throat*

Edit: There are also some hidden levels in the original version of the game not many people know about (I think... Might be thinking of GoldenEye...) Either way, they better keep anything like that too. But if they are kept, possibly tidy them up and fix collision..?
