i think this game is really stinkin hard i cannot even get to the second level after weeks of trying off and on....
i dont wanna give up on it, but its just getting really old....i am good at games generally, but this one just flat out whoops my a**, any tips or hints?

i have over 50+ arcade games off live on my hdd and this one and the tempest game (both atari) are the only ones that i have no achieves on......

I bought the game yesterday and I already have 3 or 4 achievements unlocked, the game isn't too difficult.  Ikaruga on the other hand, is a game that I find quite challenging.
